Allgier was in prison on a parole violation. His criminal record includes burglary, forgery and at least one weapons crime, according to records.
Yet another shining example of what our prison system can do to you. Go in a thief and become a murderer. The kid had problems sure, but it dont seem that he got much rehabilitation in prison. Goes to show our prison system dont rehabilitate prisoners and make them able to be part of society, in fact it turns petty criminals into life long criminals with no regard for other people. Prison makes a small time criminal into the worst they can be.
Im against prisons personally and most types of law enforcment. I think some laws should be punished like murder, rape and crimes involving children. But on a whole i think most law enforcment is a tool to make $$ off of crime, not to rehab and help people get better. If you got 100 year sentance just kill the guy and save tax payer $$.

Look at driving. If speeding is bad to do and unsafe why do police what until you do it to pull you over? When you are driving on a highway you naturally go above spped limit, usually with flow of traffic. Most people in a 65 MPH zone go 68-72 MPH on average. When you see a cop in a speed trap you slow down fast so you dont get a ticket. But once you pass them you go back to speding right? But when a cop is driving in front of you on a highway you go the speed limit and dont pass them, right? Cuz you know if you pass a cop you get a ticket. So why dont cops just drive 5-10 miles apart on highways and keep people driving the speed limit on the highway, rather than sit, hide and wait for you to be a danger to the road. If job is to serve and protect its better to protect people by maintiang the flow of traffic on a highway with their presence than to wait for you to fuck up and give you a $120 ticket. heir motivation isnt in protecting as much as collecting money for fuck ups.
I can go on and on about each law but basically, if punishment is so severe it will make people not do it. Mkae murder a death penalty case every single time and see how many peopel commit it. Make rape and child molesters get death penalty and see how many times it is done. If punishment is severe the instances go down. Right now all criminals have to fear with jail is a loss of time on the streets but its 3 hots and a cot which most dont get at home so they dont mind. Convict em and kill em asap and see how many want those 3 hots and a cot.

Now now Revegged Clone,be nice, everybody is intitled to an opinion. But...I have to agree with you that just because he was a cop doesnt mean he deserved what happened to him. I did 5 years in a New Jersey prison and it was about a 50/50 mix of cops that just did their job and cops that were scumbags. I had the opportunity to confront one of them scumbag cops about a year after I got out, saw him in an Atlantic city casino, he bitched up BIGTIME.
Im sure the cops in that prison are getting there shit off on that tatooed motherfucker as we speak.

if anyone ahs read my remarks in the security forum they know i do not like cops at all.
i bear the scar of their abuse on my face for the rest of my life.
The same way I believe my friends deserve second chances when they are freed after a murder/manslaughter/robbery/whatever charge, i believe a cop deserves a chance to redeem himself.
The idea of a cop, in and of itself is not a bad one, however, the current incarnation of this idea is. As long as a cop admits that there are flaws and does not abuse his power, he is ok in my book, even if he is arresting me, he's just doing his job...
I've done much worse things in the name of keeping my belly full and my girl happy, why should I judge him?

I mean, just the fact that they want to grow up and be a prison guard should give you a good idea of their mentality.

As with any other occupation, or even the human race in general, there are good people and bad people. Life isn't all black and white. We're all assholes or gentlemen at times, right? Some sway more to one side than the other though. There are a lot of power hungry SOBs in law enforcement though.
I got thrown into the SHU in Fed based on a CO's lie. I handle solitary better than most, being that I'm somewhat of a loner, but damn, those cells are dirty as shit. I've been treated really well and really badly by corrections officers depending on where I was at. One thing you always have to ensure is that you hold your head and never lose your cool. If they can't control your mind, they can't really do shit to you. A thick skin is a beautiful thing. Being polite never hurts either. The problem with the penal system in the US is that it would be very hard for inmates to complain about a guard. The system protects its own, and you could get killed for talking shit about the COs. I'm glad I don't live in the land of the incarcerated anymore. That being said, it's still nice to be able to visit to go shopping n visit friends n shit, but I wouldn't wanna live there.
