Was planning to repot this morning, but the pain is too much so I’ve just dosed up on painkillers and having a joint with coffee to see if that helps.
Got a few 2mg Valium in the cupboard for emergencies but I’d rather not use them if I don’t have to
Fingers crossed 🤞 as these things are begging to be repotted
I once heard that coffee enhances the effect of weed ie it makes you even more stoned. is this true or can you not tell any difference?

It’s hard for me to say as I’ve always been a coffee drinker (I’ll get shot for saying I prefer instant but I stand by it) … I’ve been drinking coffee since before I started smoking.
I have noticed that friends I’ve taken to Amsterdam who don’t drink it seem to get very sleepy long before those who do, so maybe it enhances the smoke because it can be enjoyed for longer?
It’s the perfect combination in my opinion

😂yes…. There are still a few phone booths in my area (mostly converted into mini libraries) so I told her what they were and she said she’s seen a few but assumed they were public toilets 🤣
yeah, all toilet cubicles I´ve ever used had windows, lol!!! :biglaugh:
Should have told her that they´re secret elvators which take you underground. You won´t believe who I´ve met down there when i still lived in London!
I mean Judi Dench, James Bond, Harry Potter and his mates, And a couple of routes actually take you right into Buckingham Palace. St. James Palace was nice too but they ran out of booze too quickly.
I managed to sneak into Wembley stadium to see AC/DC. Oh no wait - THAT one was just wishful thinking.

by the time i modify coffee to where i can drink it, it's hot chocolate. but i'll give it a try. i seem to need more/earlier naps these days... :shucks:
I´ve been suffering from fatigue and it got far worse after my first 2 covid shots. I occasionally take a really small dose of DMAE and it works really well.
It´s a gentle but noticable pick me up. But it must be taken in the morning meaning before lunch time because it´s long lasting and it may interfere with sleep.
it´s a lot better than coffee as it dosn´t make my heart race or mess up blood pressure etc :)

another thing I meant to add to the general health thread but forgot to....

The relative I help to look after with weed has been worrying me lately- last few weeks in particular he’s had lots of 2-3 day periods of constant vomiting.
We know what causes it… he’s got Barrett’s oesophagus and a recurring adenocarcenoma in the food pipe, which he has been lucky enough to get on a medical trial for the last few years where they zap it and remove any regrowth.
I help control the sickness with weed, smoking usually helps and some edibles from the trim.

Made some oil this time … it’s destroyed my weed stash level, but seems to be working 👍
Fingers crossed 🤞 as it really takes it out of him

I'm glad you can help and even happier that it's working!!!

My trim butter is medicine to many and I think that if there was a reason or purpose for being alive, that would be an initial suspicion.

I'm sorry I haven't checked in more but I should be comparing garden pics come planting time!

Much love to you and yours, and many thanks for sharing your shed!!

I´m sorry to hear about this. I hope the oil will help to kill the cancer cells quickly.
Is he also on a special diet to help control the other issue?

I´ve been checking out strains again and just came across this one site and strain the other day- it´s called NHS . Have you heard of it before, because i have never seen it before, lol

Here´s what it says in the description:

NHS | Mr. Nice

Since Neville brought the NL5, Haze and Skunk into being as stable hybrids in the late 80s and offered them as seed, these strains all became well known and loved by their growers in all parts of the globe. Most all strains that are offered in various other Seed companies use these 3 strains to make up their own named strains...and understandably so! Since this hybrid only contains 25% Haze it will be a practical Haze plant to grow in all types of grows. Its pedigree is made up of only winners and can be traced back to the beginning of the Cannabis revolution in breeding. Expect it to go for between 56-70 days in an indoor grow setup. In the northern hemisphere it would be expected to finish in October. In the southern hemisphere it would be expected to be finished late March. One of the all time classic hybrids that expect to yield at least 500 grams per square meter and possible a lot more depending upon you technique of growing. Giving it the name NHS-national health service implies it is able to treat the sick to a healthy state of mind and body...if you never tried it give it a go, you will understand my words better once it is in your possession!

Thanks for stopping by mate, it definitely helps with the sickness- and days on end of constant vomiting can’t do much good for anyone’s body so I’m thankful that we can break the cycle sometimes.

I had to watch my mum get destroyed by cancer many years ago and didn’t know anything about treatment with weed then.

Then my dad died of skin cancer in 2020 and I wasn’t allowed anywhere near due to COVID lockdowns so I couldn’t help at all until right at the end, by which time he didn’t know where he was.

I’ll be damned if it’s going to happen a third time without at least some help from me - may require some discreet outdoor patches this year to bolster supply 👍

The old back is kicking me hard this morning…, I normally try and wait a while before taking painkillers but not today. It’s around 2 weeks until my hospital appointment- hopefully they can do something

Little Miss B slept the clock around last night, I had to go and wake her in the end because she’s always awake before me at the weekend… clearly a tiring week

I feel with you. I´ve suffered from back pain most of my life.
I´m so glad that I´m getting physio therapy now. It includes massage and really helps a lot :)
Maybe you could benefit from it as well.?

Mrs b gives me a massage sometimes which is good but doesn’t really work… the problem is herniated discs at the bottom of my back, and they’re squashing the nerves.
Started about 10 years ago but it’s been bearable for most of the time until the end of last year… now they want to do another scan before doing anything but I’ve got to see the consultant first (would seem more efficient to do a scan while waiting imo)
I’m imagining they’ll recommend epidural steroid injection…. Hope it works or planting in the wild may be off the table this year ☹️

Unless your wife is a trained physio masseur it won´t help that much I guess. A trained professional knows exactly how and what to do. It´s painful and unpleasant at times but they really helped me so far. They did my neck, my spine, ribs, muscles etc. It´s a totally different type of treatment :)
Perhaps you could ask your doc about it? It may cost a little extra but it´s well worth it imo

Unfortunately I don’t have private healthcare, I’m in the uk so relying on the NHS and will have to go with what they say… although I expect physio will be part of it
It was the years of lifting and carrying heavy stuff all day everyday that did the damage- I thought I was indestructible 🤣
