Good Evening Hashish Lovers.

Today's photos are the pressed results from the very first post of this thread.
I had been experimenting with various times in which to dry/age/cure.
I like to cure the loose resin for about 4 weeks, then press, cure/age the pressed resin for 6+ weeks,(The longer the better IMO). This seems to enhance the flavor and overall high.

I have to say since visiting ICMAG lately, my heart and soul has been captured by Hashish, the influences here are that of tremendous proportion.

I got a sneak-peak of my latest run...gonna be amazing.
Right out of the water...

25µ (got to replace my 25 with a 45) this batch is really greasy though.

Gotta love Colorado..( Super dry air)

Hash Wednesday :]

Well, I promised pressed pics today, but my Arthritis is kicking my ass today.
Anxiety levels are elevated, got another surgery coming real quickly.
(Just replaced my entire right hip in March, left hip is next week.)

But, I do have some pretty nice images to share.

This was from yesterday's run.

This was an all flower run, consisting of 1 oz of very frosty bottom of the jar nugs.
Yielded 4.3 grams of this gold 73µ

Good Evening Hashishins!
Tonight's pics are the results of the Above Run.

This being only my 5,6 runs, I learned a good lesson from Frenchy.
I've been playing with curing, then pressing vs. pressing then curing.

Most definitely, cure then press is my preferred method.

Frenchy once again teaches me to make sure the resin is very very very dry before pressing to retain a sticky texture*What I prefer*...I live in Colorado and hash dries very quickly here, she was bone bone dry when I pressed.

When, I pressed it resembled a pull and snap BHO consistency, I mean exactly, glassy and” shards”..it would partially stick and pull like a taffy with a significant gold hue.

I hand press for now, as I can ” read” the resin better in my hands and I very much enjoy the change in aroma whilst pressing, again a transcendence when I press.
I bond with the Hashish as it bonds to itself

Any who...ramble ramble...I'm baked..

I wanted a sticky texture, but ended up with super melty wax, which is THE best hash I've had yet.

Just wonder if it would've been better if kept sticky.

So, I just broke off a gram to have a variety of hashes to smoke as they all age. (Done the same with the last three batches)..so I have 4 varieties smoking and 3 of them aging.

Inside the oval, extracted on 6/1 pressed on 6/5 Was so dry to the touch it felt like grains of sand.

Now it's extremely waxy and crumbles very easily.
Inside shots.
This is most certainly the most flavorful hash I've made.

After it crumbles, you can squeeze into a ball or disc for dabbing.

My lesson this time, even after you think the hash is dry enough, wait another few days before pressing to retain a sticky, moist hash. *With a proper cure, you can have moist sticky hash that will not mold*

I'm alive ICMAG! Thanks for the thoughts Frenchy,
HOLY SHIT, I woke up A LOT earlier in recovery, rather than in my room like last time.

My toes were strapped together(hip replacement) ,the room was freezing cold and I was paralyzed with pain.

It felt as if I were in the very first"Saw"Movie, I was unable to formulate words yet,so I could do was start groaning, which seemed like all the other patients were in the same situation..

Just super surreal.

(3) 250mg of RSO Style caps per dose 4x day is working very well to keep me medicated and stoned for entire stay .

Also brought some of the most melty hashes to place into the ceramic atomizer on my favorite pen.

Does not get youAS high ,but the flavor profile is incredible.

Hey Hashish Lovers.

Ole dabs has been out of commission the last few weeks, thought I'd be making more hash by now, but alas,; My surgery is taking significantly longer than the right hip took to heal.


I imagine it to be normal, having two major procedures done just 3 months apart.
The body is still technically trying to complete the healing process of the right hip. So theoretically the left will take a bit longer to heal.

Anywho, I miss posting my pics, so I'm pulling some old images that were taken long ago
