Sin City Seeds?

I threw 6 Blue Petrol cuts (actually 2 ft tall plants) in thw ground last season with some super rich organic compost and my results were awesome. All the phenos (there is a few). My patients were truly pissed when i ran out of the outdoor Blue Petrol.

Nice buds. Thing is...ive found with SCS gear is all of the seeds ususally germinate. And the females you get all have phenotypes that are potent...tasty...and EXTREMELY frosty. Every damn one too. Ive ran about 7 or 8 of thier early catalog strains...i found it hard to pick keepers to keep as mother cloning stock. They are that good. Ive ran alot of seeds from all kinds of companys. And almost always get a dud here or there. Or hermies. Not so (or not yet anyways) with Sin City. Again...mostly the Blue Power hybrid gear. That shit is amazingly tasty and potent as hell.

Agree Rondon, haven't had a dud yet and 'every' female has ranged from very good to fire! Out of 30+ females, only had one that threw a few late nanners. One of the best and cost effective bean purchases I've made to date...they were pretty cheap when I pulled the trigger (I think $85CDN/15 beans). Still have plenty to sift through yet.

I picked mine up at the SCS vending booths at local Cups. Really good deals. First year was 3 15 seed packs for 100 bucks. Next year not so good but still awesome at 2 packs for 100$. Needless to say...i stocked up.

I actually have a Blue Power phenotype that gives Gorilla Glue #4 a close run in amount of frost and visible trichome production. Totally different plant on all fronts but that BP is one frosty lady. If you can..try and grow Sin City strains under ceramic metal halide fixtures. Scs gear just BEGS to be grown under this spectrum. Try it if you can.

damn, i just got a lesson in Sin City this week! never got to sample their varieties till recently but i have to say i'm blown away.

what's ICMag's opinion/experience with Sin Mint Cookies? I already know the end product is great but what is this variety like in terms of pheno hunting? Is it hard to find a *decent* producer? (heard there are decent producers in that line....)

I grew two Sin Mint Cookies last year (thanks BTW!):
Compared to the other varieties it grew bushier after tying it down, was rather late flowering, small round buds which resulted in a lower yield but higher mould resistance (it was quite foggy during the last days of their life), very nice resin coverage and good calyx-to-leaf ratio; got me some potent, nice tasting tea but the fir/resin taste is too dominant IMHO. The two plants were quite similar, one with a bit more purpling and both clearly distinct from the other varieties. Dunno where I (mis-)placed the pictures... did I even take some???
Anyway, couldn't resist smoking some: given that it wasn't cured but quickly dried made the smoke rather harsh though dense and overall nice but not my favourite.

EDIT:
The year before I grew a few donated Sin City Sour Cherry Kush hybrids. Loved most of them (still do). Great sweet fruity aromas which are wonderful as tea and some still develop further after all this time in the jar. The Tahoe OG cross was the best and strongest tasting with deep purpling but fairly mould susceptible and the Pineapple Tsu (one was designated "CBD pheno" but there was certainly no CBD in my plants ) had a very good but fortunately not too heavily carrying smell and grew fast and big!

The Cancer's Nightmare S2 on the other hand was rather disappointing ;( . One grew very tall, bushy, and healthy, the remaining 7 stayed medium to small. Lots of variation in there regarding growth, branching, shapes, leaves, and colouring (2 plants were light green -> funny mutation?)... Smell was poor and weak and the taste was always the same and reminiscent of hemp from the northern ecotype (can only describe it as a mix of straw and rancid hazelnut oil) which is something I do not like at all. If there's CBD in the plants, I don't know (messed up the TLC, will repeat it some day but the bad taste kept my motivation down although I could need some new CBD tincture for my dog, he doesn't mind the bad taste as long as I extract with coconut oil LoL). The 2 or 3 plants I tried certainly contain some THC... tea got me high but not too much (maybe cause I didn't drink it all, tasted too awful, or due the presence of CBD???).

Sin City is with the business,been using thier gear for a few years with excellent results. They are pretty much the only seed company I have used in the last 2 years.. Here are some of my outdoor from last year about this time of year Petroleum Night mare.Power Purps.Rem. then I have a strain I made I call Magic Carpet (power purps x power nap) I looooove it. Smells like blueberry muffins earlier in flower then melts into a blueberry, lemon, with master/bubba kush smell in there.. Going to take her to the next Cup.
This year Im runnin those plus UFO COOKIES AND SIN MINT PIE ������

Get you some Sin City seeds you won't be disappointed

I use 20 30 and 100 gallon generic smarties with pure coco perlite mix. And my new favorite is my 38inch wide x 24inch tall wooden box planters filled with coco/perlite and i have them on furniture movers so I can just roll them big bitches around with ease to get better light or ibdoors for a couple extra hours each. Night

Also made a cross of Alien Dawg(ether) x Blue Power.. Last two seeds turned out male this year so Im hitting a few branches of each of my girls with them.got other girls to cross tjem to but they are clone onlys so we'll keep it to Sin City stuff
