Simply Amazing

We had trouble with our indoor garden and barely saved some medicine. What we got was terrific.

Here's a Santa Marta Gold (Columbian Gold)- a smooth up earthy bud.

We also rescued some of TRC's Devastator which is a stoney Indica that actually tastes like garlic.

Help with meds came from Humboldt. Here's my selected pheno of Lifesaver which I wisely gave to friends up there.

Finally, here's two pics of Humboldt Burmese, a spicy tasting strain that smells like bananas. A good solid Indica.

The Burmese is very strange pot. It finishes in 42 days growing long thick buds. The bud really does smell like bananas but tastes spicy as hell. It's an all Indica stone. I go for the Santa Marta in the morning :) and Burmese or Lifesaver at night. Wait till ya see the Train Wreck pics. Can a patients get too medicated?

Dr. Jay

makes me wish i lived in or near humboldt county... new york is a miserable place for a med patient like me so it would be a dream to live somewhere where I could procure quality medicine. My horrible freaking injury has changed my life soo badly that now i rely on oxycotin to have the strength to pick my body up and move around. I was in a horrible accident and i have a mangled back, herniated disks, impinged nerves, soft tissue damaged and as a result fused disks and chronic pain. I am only 22 and feel like I am 88. Luckily for me I can walk again! but for now my dependence on oxycotin and percocet is something very vile and evil. something i want to completely do away with... I plan to have a small harvest late august early september but for now it would be great to smokeagain :)
sorry for venting on your thread Dr.J but it actually felt good :D
awesome display and take care dr. and mrs. j :D

Dear Friendly,

It's frickin heartbreaking to hear your story. Like you I have spinal disease including two blown cervical discs and severe nerve impingement at C5-6, C6-7, and severe stenosis in the lumbar spine. I'm looking at surgery this fall.

Also like you I was maintained on heavy drugs. For five long years my daily intake included 60mg of methadone plus Ambien for sleep at night, Clonopin for spasm, Flexaril for cramps, and huge doses of Neurontin (gabapentin). I couldn't even remember my telephone number and the pain and depression just got worse.

Cannabis has helped give me something of a life and most important, hope.

For the pain and spasm that Lifesaver can't be beat and for pain the Wreck is unbelievable. I've been off maintenence now for nearly 4 years. I still have to take the occassional Vicodin but my brain is back. Good luck to ya! Can you grow your own?

Yours,
Dr. Jay

thankfully through the kindness of BOG and JLP i have procured seeds and the lifesaver is coming along well in veg but honestly even maintaining them I need a lil help. Thank goodness for me I believe in karma and have treated "life" well enough to have a marvelous girlfriend to help me tend to my plants and misc. stuff. I also have stenosis and constant spasms day and night. It really is depressing and feels the pain meds make me feel like a hollow person. I would love to smoke some medical strains if I could. Do you know a reputable place I could possibly order some med. mj, that wont be too expensive since i am living on disability right now and if you do and dont feel like posting on the thread please feel free to pm me. I was blessed 3 weeks after the accident to recieve a half gram of bubble from BOG and it was truly a blessing for over two weeks. but since then its been a rollercoaster battle with highs and extreme lows. Glad to know your better or at least I hope you are doing well. :D
stay friendly Dr.J :)

I agree with friendlyfriend "wish I lived in or near Humboldt county, so I could grow my meds without the worry of the redneck police here in Texas.

I was in a car accident where I was hit head on on the freeway and messed up my neck and back. I have had 3 surgeries trying to corrrect the herniated disc - and they have all failed. I still have herniated disc in my neck but they tell me no way should I have another surgery - so here I sit trying to control the mess my body is in with methadone, somas, flexeril whatever I can do to eliminate the pain. It sucks big time but don't know what else to do. I also suffer from liver disease, hypertension and diabtes, thyroid disease and lord knows, I hate dr.'s everytime I see one they add something else. It's hell to fall apart at my age.

I have only had 1 harvest and that was in Dec. 2003 and now I have started again.

I had a good friend that was an atty who went to Alaska on a vacation and took a helicoper tour and it crashed into the side a a mountain, when I got the call I was devastated. Then like 3 mths after that my youngest sister who was 37 yrs. old died from a heart attack, then a few mths. after that my 45 yr. old brother died from gallbladder surgery and then after that my mother died and just a few mths ago my stepfather died. I am severly depressed and I take effexfor XR as the prozac I was taking quit working. MMJ is the only thing that makes me feel like I want to live or life is worth living. So, here I am trying to adjust and it is very hard, but life goes on.

I think that mmj definitely needs to be leglized but until then I and every other medical mj user suffers.

Sorry for ranting on about this Dr. Jay and friendlyfriend, loved the pics looked very nice, I'm sure the mmj was excellent - it looked nice, I imagined I was holding and smelling it and smiling.

Hope you have a good indoor harvest friendlyfriend, thanks godness you have the help of your girlfriend. My sister trys to help with my gardening but she lives 30 miles away and she is a nurse and works all the time.

Until later

geez Texas if you ever need a buddy... holler @ me.. Sorry about all the losses. Life is sometimes extraordinairly harsh for alot of us but through months of self reflection and meditation I have come to realize that the good in our loved ones transcends onto our lives through other people, expiriences, smokes, and emotions to name a few.

And in the spirit of this thread I can certainly attest to the fact this one might be divinely inspired to some degree. And I mention this because besides empathy and compassion for each other there is overwhelming hope symbolized by the labor of love by Dr.J and Mrs. J.

Thanks Homegrownsweets. We did get in some 7 new strains of bud. Four are mine grown by wife and I and the other 3 are Odro from Humboldt including my Lifesaver.

So, for the past couple of days we've been evaluating the strains. It's a very tough job. I can hardly find my belly button and I've got Samuri Monkeys fighting on the curtains.

Dr. jay
