hey mimedguy

well, to make good an a typically frowned upon situation, that will be some killer bag seed man!

cant wait till you put these out!

That's what I was thinking...I'm hoping it was a light dusting caused by a crazy one night stand that will produce a perfect new strain.

Well Mi-med I did not see that coming.
That being said unexpected father hood can be a jolt to the system. Regardless you knocked it out off the park on that grow. It was great to watch I hope you chronicle the finish and harvest of seeds.

Test growing for breeder is def a cool mission. Hope to get involved myself.

SS day 54 harvest day
Well today is the end of a beautiful little grow. The girls ended up smelling like blueberries, some sweet some funky. Some of the girls started foxtailing, I got a fresh bottle of nutes towards the end of the grow and think it boosted the girls at the end. I'll let them dry for a week and then I will give a smoke report.

Id like to thank med-man for the opportunity to grow this strain. I hope I met your expectations for a grow report and anticipate the results of your contest. I would also like to add that your consistent feedback along the way was a blessing to the grow and was very much appreciated. If you ever need future test growers I would love the privilege.

You sure you wanna chop those now? Looks like they could use another couple weeks. Don't know if there's a reason for the early chop time or if that's recommended by the breeder, just seems not quite ready yet.

From med-man in his original post about this test
"45-55 day flowering period (will shoot nanners if left passed peak)"

I saw a couple nanners on a couple of plants so I didn't want to push it and get more seeds in my room so I chopped at day 54. I agree normally I would let a plant go longer if it looked like this but I'm leaning on breeder knowledge and visual proof of said knowledge.

Rad, MiMed !
Did you have achance to check trichs up close ?
I would agree with both opinions here.... let them go a bit more& chop because of shooting nanners.
Maybe looking at the trichs under magnification could solve this.

They still look great however man !

Did you flush towards the end and how long ( saw that note about the new bottel of nutes, but also the fading fans on most of the girls...)

Cheers& happy puffing mate !!

@ med-man- no co2 here...I'd like to but not in the cards yet. I'm running the clones I took but this time I'm gonna run them in 5gal and play with them a lil. Hopeful to start to dial in and select a good keeper. What is Shady Achers? Please wet my palette with bits of info!

@Chevy cHaze- thanks brother...I know I was torn but they did show mostly clear and some cloudy trichs...no amber. I just couldn't risk all plants shooting nanners in my room over the next 2 weeks. That would be a month of known potential pollen chucking...I flushed for the last week just to try and stop the new foxtailing from getting out of control. I use dyna gro which cuts out N right away in bloom, my next run I will run a blend of grow and bloom to transition them easier to hopefully reduce yellowing and stress.

@browntrout - thanks!
