Sick-looking blueberry pics

Here are the details:

6 blueberry seedlings, Dutch Passion standard
Plants are about 2 weeks old
Grown under mild flouros for first week, temps not an issue
Then moved to 250watt HPS, temps range from 85-95
Soil, peat with perlite and vermiculite
Grown in c13 style wardrobe
Tap water, no ferts

I think that's everything. Sorry about the fucking diabolical pictures. Any help appreciated

But you have to be kinda carefull, Blueberry are really nute sensitive aren't they?

Start with like a 1/4 dose and move it up slowly.

Great, thanks. Usually I wouldn't use any ferts for about three weeks and don't have any probs, but I'll give them a mild dose and see how it goes

I would transplant into larger pots and try to lower the temps a little bit...just my :2cents: ....good luck

Some of those look a little like they could be mutants, but that might be something else.

Does DP's BB have the same tendancies to mutate and be nute picky as DJS' BB?

first thing i noticed was the long unstable stems, thats either high temps or lack of light that caused the stretching.......the yellowing is probably the starting of a N defiency or overwatering.

I know everyone is sick of me saying this...You didn't really say what else you had in your soil. Dolomite lime would be your source of calcium and magnesium if it is not in your ferts already. You can add calcium and magnesium to your fert if needed by using 1/4 teaspoon powdered gypsum + 1/4 teaspoon epsom salts per gallon of water along with your regular fert everytime if you have no lime and maybe every third or fourth fert if you used dolomite lime. This would also supply sulfur. You have to make sure the seedlings are getting complete nutrition. Check your ferts + what is in the soil. Plants need nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, manganese, zinc, copper, boron, and molybdenum to grow. Tip: they also need a little chlorine. You can add a very small pinch of table salt to a gallon of water to supply this if none of your ferts are chloride based.

The tap water was checked for PH level right ? And those little guys don’t need ferts. You *can* fertilize them but low doses. I use only fish emulsion at half strength, seedlings respond to that best imo.

lol sprout, but sprout is right they need food, and get them out of those cups transplant into some pots

get a fert and feed weekly but dont do it strong and dont listen to the back of the bottle or box depending on what nutrient you use otherwise you will burn your plants

use 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water of chemical nutrients you would buy from harware store or garden shop, hydro stores you gotta be carefull to depending on the nutrients

get them temps down under 80 and yes blueberry is very picky i have grown it before

be carefull on the nutes or she will turn your back on you in a sec and show burning! lol

Thank you all you wonderful people.

I let the soil dry out completely before watering so I don't think it's over-watering.

The flouros I used for the first period were very weak, so that probably explains the skinny long stems

I don't pH test my water

In my soil I use potting compost from the gardening centre – no idea what's in it – and a fifth perlite and then a little vermiculite. That's it.

I have a soil pH tester – one of those metal spike jobs that has a dial at the top, but I'm suspicious of the fucker. It tells me the pH of the soil is around 6

For ferts I use Dr Hornby's Iguana Juice. I'm not at home so I can't give details about its makeup at present

use ph test strips or digital ph pen testing the run off

those spike testers are shit and should not be used they are a waste of resources and money

get an oscilating fan on them, it will make your stems strong. we'll get you fixed up in no time!
one of the cheapest, most often over looked tools in the game, that delivers results, with no fan, you might as well be growing it in a mcdonalds kitchen,,,,,good luck, they look a little burned to me, not in need of nutes, but listen to stitch, she is a plant carol nightengale(with cyclids) bd

exactly, my oscilating fan is on the minute they pop out of the soil even if they start to stretch from heat atleast they are still swaying back n forth getting strong, my fan doesn't turn off until my finished buds are going in jars....even when drying i still have my fan blowing lightly.

Grew out DP Blueberry 2 times from 2 different packs, first pack was bad new's hermies like a MOFO. But i wanted Blueberry so bad i got another pack of Blueberry and it was killer, i found 2 awesome Blue Pheno plants, what i mean is late in flowering outdoor's they turned a very nice Purple/Blue color and those 2 plants were the most Indica of them all, very fat short wide leafed indica style plants.
Blueberry DP when first grown from seed will turn like a pig's tail is how they curl around when growing out of soil from seed. Kinda weird looking at first. I ended up losing those 2 plants and i'm still dissapointed over that because i had finally found what i wanted in Blueberry, a Very Berry Smell, Nice Color and covered in crystals and also had a Killer Deep stone to it, and as i said tasted very berry. Some people Diss on Blueberry and i did too once after the hermie issue, but after that i was very happy with Blueberry. I want to get DJ's New Trueblueberry and see how it is and hope to get something like what i had before, but i want to get the More Indica Pheno and i'm after the very Berry Smelling, crystal covered plant like i once had. Really good bud if grown right, very nute sensitive. I have a couple packs of Blueberry at the moment. I will alway's keep some Blueberry seeds back for the awesome flavor's and color's.
I did get 1 pack of TRC's Blueberry F4's also. From pics i seen them put up of those plants there some awesome blueberry plants to be found in those seeds of TRC's. Someday i will look into those seeds to try and find a nice blue/purple pheno.

I've got an oscillating fan on them, and I'll pick up some pH strips from the chemist asap.

The little blueberry bastards look a bit warped alright, but they're gowing away, I'm not overly bothered

I grew out a lovely purple Northern Light from Nirvana on an earlier grow, and in my last grow the White Rhinos had purple tendencies. Both were potent too - you read a lot about purple weed being weak, but not in my experiece so far.

Thanks for all the help.

until you get a ph kit, use some poland spring bottled or similiar. Poland spring is usually 6.0ish. I bet your tap water is hot and the plants hate it, that is all...good luck
