Sick "Garlic" Strain plant? What's the deal? Help!

I have had this clone (along with the weak looking one behind it) in my hydro setup for 1 week. I have been runniing about a 30 min on, 45 min off water cycle, with very low ppms (<300). The pH has been under <6.2 the whole time, ranging mostly around 6.0.

The other plants (which are called "spice") that are the same age (they aren't pictured) look great. These two, not so great. They had a magnesium deficiency, so I added 1 tsp of epsom salt to the bucket they are in (this was yesterday night). Some of the lower leaves are wavy, and as you can see, aren't so green.

What is going on? They are under a 250w HPS, with no heat in the room, and excellent airflow.

Any ideas?

I think your watering too often.

You sprinkled epsom salts on the bucket dry? Dump your water out and remix the nutrients using no more than 1/4 teaspoon epsom salts per gallon of water.

Sorry, the buckets have about 1-1.5 gallons of water each, so I added a teaspoon, accordingly.

Are these the same plants as the other thread you posted? If so go back there for some help, and follow blackposer's wrong advice at your own (and your plant's) peril.

Nope I agree I think you are watering too often. Pot is hardy, I wouldn't bother with the low ppm start, you wanna be around 1000ppm on the 500TDS scale or 1400 on the 700TDS scale, or 2.0 EC or 20 CF.
I think with a top feeder system you are better off dumping your nutes every week rather than dicking around with adjusting them with micronutes (Really they are cheap) The build up of ethylene and other exudate in the nutes will slow growth pretty sharply. This plant may just be a runt but at a week old I wouldn't be freakin' too much just yet.

Why don't you mind your own business? If you want to take bv's advice and watch your garden die, be my guest. He has ****ed too many people up and I for one do not waste my time here helping peeps so some poser can come to feed his ego and give them wrong advice. You know his advice is crap, many others do not. Would you go to a doctor who has never worked on a human before? Why take the advice from someone who has no experience or clue growing pot?

We have been putting up with his crap for a long time and many people here are sick of it. He doesn't answer for it, trolls the infirmary to get his post count up, but still has a pathetic amount of rep for so many posts, then neg reps anyone who calls him out, like a little child.

Why don't you build up a few more posts and spend some more time here reading and learning before you go judging anyone, K noob?
