If your a legal med patient, then it doesn't matter if he suspects anything. Your not breaking any laws. He didn't see any buds, and unless he was a grower himself those nutes most likely wouldn't mean much to him.

I wouldn't be too worried esp in Ca.So long as he didn't see your grow and he isn't a hydro expert himself, you have no real concerns but if you are not comfortable with the situation let your instincts be your guide.Even minor brushes with the law can be a real pain.Good luck.

Yeah, think so. I heard him talking to someone outside my apt after I told em I had left. Dude seemed in a hurry and kinda scatterbrained. A big part of the dilemma is the fact that Im 7 weeks in and it would blow hard to scrap it. At least my AC is fixed.

Doesn't matter if the AC guy suspects anything or not... all that matters is how you can handle the whole thing mentally. If it puts dirty thoughts in your head then shutting the whole thing down might be reasonable. Bad thoughts lead to disasters.
My recipe however is not to give a f¤ck. Especially when you are legal.

A friend of mine was in your same situation dude. He needed something for his A/C fixed in his apartment. To make the job easier the maintenance men had to get to some wires in his closet. The closet was locked and w/o his permission (he was at work while they were in his apt.) they broke the lock to finish the job. Surprise! they stumbled on a small urban garden of mj. He talked to them afterwards. They said they were cool and they would not tell and that they would actually consider buying some finish product. Sounds like some "friendly" people right? WRONG! When he told me this I insisted that he shut down shop. A week later, the local police are at his door with a warrant. He just smiles as they frantically search his house for some plants that are no longer there. All they got was a bag of soil and some empty pots . That is what happened in a n0n-med state.

Now your circumstances being that your are IN a med state. I would keep it going. All you have to worry about is getting ripped by the maintenence man himself and/or the FEDS which i doubt some Feds would be on your case if your doing a small op in a rental.

IMO, if your in a med state... and growing a small personal crop... if you have a good record... and are following the laws... you shouldn't be worried.

I recommend.. even if you are a small personal use grower, do whatever it takes to make the money to have a lawyer. Thats your best bet, should help you sleep at night. You also get what you pay for usually. ( in this instance... you would call your lawyer.. and ask him for his opinion) I would give you a guess at what he would say.. but I'm not going to add speculation.

Everyone growing legally should have a good lawyer before they start growing.. (no matter your size)

I can speculate too, but I hate it when threads don't come to some sort of conclusion. "Hey guys what's your advice?" Everyone gives it. What does he end up doing? Who the hell knows, and thread disappears into the mix. When there is a conclusion people can use the thread to help them decide how to handle the same situation in their lives. When there's not, it just ensures another discussion on the same topic is inevitable. Although, on this topic, it's inevitable anyway huh?

Regardless of the conclusion in his case, it would be different for others.
But let's rehash the factors:
Legal med patient in Cali
Can fit all nutes under sink (= small grow by anyone's standards in Cali)
A/C man didn't see grow
A/C man was immigrant
In week seven of flower

My conclusion: Up your physical security (change locks, put door blocker in, assess entry points to grow) as preventative measure for thieves.
Then, sit on your ass till they're done and enjoy the smoke.

Yeah man, Cali. I'm a med patient with all the paperwork and supposed laws backing me. Just don't want any static. The guy had this nervous vibe to him and acted almost too friendly, how some people get when nervous. Some foreign dude from the middle east, accent, etc. Went out of his way to shake my hand on the way out, kept apologizing for being there, etc. Then he calls 10 minutes later saying he left something outside my door and wanted me to open the gate. I said I was gone and couldn't help.

to me just sounds like someone who is new at their job and really wants to keep it
