Shut it Down?

I live in an apt and have been having some problems with my AC unit. A repair guy just was here to take a look. I cleaned everything up as usual. Then the guy says the drain pipe for the AC is clogged and they need to under my bathroom sink to unclog it. I keep all my nutes and meters there and the guy helped me remove them so her could access the pipe. It sucked. I had no idea anything for my AC was under my fukkkking bathroom sink.

The guy seemed totally ufazed like he didnt know what it was or didn't care about the 20 bottles. He kept wanting to tell me why the AC was breaking and was friendly. No smell or any other reason to be worried. I also live in a fairly pot friendly area.

W/out a doubt. Dont play with your freedom or security. Even if he did not snitch, he could tell someone, that may decide to take what you got.

u in medical state? risky risky that dude might be actin like he doesnt know whats up, but he may.

Yeah man, Cali. I'm a med patient with all the paperwork and supposed laws backing me. Just don't want any static. The guy had this nervous vibe to him and acted almost too friendly, how some people get when nervous. Some foreign dude from the middle east, accent, etc. Went out of his way to shake my hand on the way out, kept apologizing for being there, etc. Then he calls 10 minutes later saying he left something outside my door and wanted me to open the gate. I said I was gone and couldn't help.

Some of these nute bottles do look like bubble bath or the sht women use to dye their hair and that alone is not enough for a warrant to be issued. Not sure if he knows what a PH pen is.

Yeah, think so. I heard him talking to someone outside my apt after I told em I had left. Dude seemed in a hurry and kinda scatterbrained. A big part of the dilemma is the fact that Im 7 weeks in and it would blow hard to scrap it. At least my AC is fixed.

Well... I was thinking about the drain... which would make zero sense normally... but then it hit me.. they rig so much shit up... via "handy men" at apartments... so... I think your safe from that angle ... if you can see something running from the ac - drain under your sink... assuming its a window knocker... if not... dunno... id be suspicious... but being legal..I think your alright.

edit: if he was foreign... maybe he thinks the meters and chemicals are for a meth lab... that could have sketched him out.

Several things come to mind...
In most states, a landlord is supposed to give at least 24 hr notice unless it's an emergency.
Why would you open the door without knowing everyplace he might even remotely need to look? I mean I setup my gear and know every wire and water/septic line in my place.
How did he get your phone number? It doesn't make any sense that he would have your cellphone number? He obviously didn't call your apartment or you wouldn't have been able to deny being there.

He may have figured out what was up and just wanted to do his job and leave.

Of course there is always the thought that you probably should keep your paperwork handy if you are legal. I keep a copy of mine in a seal sleeve beside my door, at the entrance of my garden, and another in my pocket.

But if you're legal then what is the issue? Rippers? Keep the door locked and don't open it for strangers.

Breaking?
ac condensation lines when clogged dont drain from the evaporator coil..I.E. insdide after furnace before plenum ducts...

if there is an overflow shut off then thats the prob.

Growing in a rental of any kind is a huge security risk. You never know when they are going to come in. They may not do it legally, but in the end you are discovered. Huge risk. Takes too long to grow weed under those circumstances IMO.

Yeah I have my paperwork taped to everything. The AC unit is in the ceiling so I had no fukn idea there was anything related to it under the sink. My whole place was spotless other than that. He got my # from apt management after I reported the issue. And just cus you are "legal" doesn't mean the popo agrees with it. knwwhaimsayn?

I feel alright about it.

Re: Shut it Down?

You could relocate them as well and let them finish, but that may or may not be realistic.

dude you are in cali...just make sure you chop your plants back to 6/12 if you are truely concerned.

i doubt he even does anything.

growing in apartments sucks, but since its apartment i bet its a small grow.

I'd at least harvest. If your paranoid move to a non-apartment.

I've come to learn... that if someone isn't an MJ grower... they have no idea what certain things are related to MJ...

IE: my moms an avid flower grower... she would see a PH meter and have zero clue.
Same with the nutes.. someone who doesn't grow mj.. or isn't around it... no clue.

Then... if they do grow MJ.. or at least have been around some buddy's grow... your worst bet is a ripper.

It's up to you... I don't live in cali... but If I had a personal sized grow.. in my state.. ( where there's tons of renegade prohibitionist police... who haven't been able to sink in the new laws)
I wouldn't be worried one bit.
