shroomy- I would rip out the dieing males and just tap pollen on the females. This method has worked well for me in the past. At least you'll know the pollen is right on the pistils not just hopping some fell on them.

Thanx HookaHittaH ill deff give that a shot when i visit them again tomoz :D only had a quick visit today because only had an hour to water and weed all my other regular plants

Hey shroomey,
looks to me like you are loving life down under? I have an ignorant american question for ya....How conscious do you have to be of all the nasty fucking snakes, spiders, lizards and large reptiles you have there when you are out tending your girls? All I know of oz is what I have seen on the discovery channel. One nasty little creature after another. Keep up the good work, I would love to have some of the array of auto genetics you are playing with.

I certainly am loving life down under ChynaRyder :D

Your question is not ignorant at all.. you have not been here so are more than in your right to go by what you have seen on the discovery channel lol
I am very very careful when i go visit my plants in the summer months.. i see a snake normally about 3 - 4 times a month when going to visit them.. i even saw a blue tonged lizard today when going to see my auto seed run... i was super excited never ever seen one in the wild.. little cutie was sleeping near my pots and bolted when he saw me... spiders i am not really afraid of they are awesome in my eyes... keeps the bugs off my plants and you cant ask for much more than that ;)

as for the array of my genetics if you are after anything let me know ;)

:listen2..It is about 4 years since our daughter visited OZ..Sydney..

Which girl is it in post #38..this page..?
Has a very similar overhead to the DC/ALF fat-head cross..so I'm wondering

Once I play out my hand, which could well take me the next year or so, I just may do that.;) Maybe something in that oz land southern hemisphere atmosphere ya got there that may add that touch of magic I seek :chin:

I think I'll work on mossy first, as the drool stains on my keyboard from looking at the array in his garden are bgining to mount:canabis: I got canna envy, and got it bad!

Yeah everyone wants to live in the "sunshine state"

so true mate :D

would be nice to be able to grow something on 24/0 and then throw out side to bud any time of the year... and not worry about mold as much as VIC ppl :(

That's cool. I have a friend that lives in VIC. Around Melbourne.

Queensland is the place to be. Hot, humid, and 90. My kind of weather :smoker:

Melbourne is a nice place ;) but i agree id love to spend a year in QLD just growing :D

Shroomy..from this side of the photo they look fine..:chin:
but I am not getting much detail.
Colour looks good..comparing it next to the undergrowth around them..
they look in good condition.
Normally if I see unexplained leaf loss I would suspect bad drainage/stagnant water..
But the plant normally looks sickly..and they certainly don't..:nono:
Are they going from the bottom..or all over...?
but ive never had em go for nearly 3.5 months either...
Could simply be age and natural wasteage.
What do the cayxs's feel like..
still moist and green or going crepe-y
will try get a good quality pic for Friday night show..
Yup..especially if you are still worried about them.
check out the purple one mossy... that one is for you...
:woohoo::woohoo:
CHEERS M8...it is the first Australian Purple I have set eyes on...
and it is all Mine :woohoo:
ps how long you recon to go...
Again..check the calyx's...and Smell.
I think they really start to change smell when they are going over..get an extra roundness.
I use it quite a bit when I am growing off season..
the bad/cold conditions slows the transpiration so much that you cannot work on regular timings.

Real Good news though...
IMO..bud grown on the spring off season has the Best taste.
I think it is the same as tomatoes grown through spring taste better than summer grown..they are better for a touch of cold.
Hope your results are the same..let me know.
