do it shaggy, if anything, it's a learning experience. Best case scenario, you fall in love with them (like many of us have). Worst case, it's better to regret something you have done, than to regret something you haven't done.

i have a serious luck, that i got one male from 6 sprouted seeds so i can make more seeds
oh yea... dont bother about size, this plants are real survivalists, they got caught by aunt winter few time(few minus degrees celsius few times)
