I think BG is an underrated strain. I've seen/read many a report from people who 've visited the DAM and it seems like more than anything else, they're always raving about BG. There are so many flavors of the "month", "quarter", and "year" that the old tried & trues seem to take a backseat.

Sooo.... who's growing/grown BG & has bud or flower pix they'd like to share?
Smoke reports would be nice as well.

NOTE: I know there are a lot of crosses out there made with BG... I'm hoping to see the real deal.... preferrably from THSeeds, but anything real would be great.

I bought the bogglegum, because i've grown it in the past and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! very cheerful, euphoric, social buzz. And the taste is wonderfull as well. If i don't find my keeper in the boggle...I've got backups!!

Just as I suspected. Bubblegum is out there... but where are the SPROUTED beans!?!?!!!!

I'm hoping to see BUBBLEgum... not a cross. Finding pics of BOG's excellent work is EASY - but finding a pic of the IBL Bubblegum from THSeeds or any other vendor, well... that's quite a challenge (or so it seems).

ive come by some white label bg......they are calling me from the fridge to pull em n' sprout em.........i also have searched for some great bg shots.....og's got a few, but i cant get a vibe....it would be interesting to see the serious seeds bg also, simon is no joke..........nf

for future reference, you can take a clone literally the same day you harvest - they will re-veg slowly (and have mould issues so air them out well) but just so you know the next time you see something you love at harvest the absense of early cloning doesn't mean you can't hold on to it.

Yeah OG just doesn't have enough to get a feel... I agree.
I too would love to see Serious' version. Their AK is phenomenal... why wouldn't their BG be? Might just be the exact same thing as THSeeds, though... dunno.

That's an awesome picture... thanks so much for sharing. A little curious about trichomes..... is BG a moderate trich. strain that makes up for it with the taste and smell, or do you think there are phenos which bring higher triches? It looks like xt's might have been a little stickier... just asking for opinions.

well my BG girl was covered in trichomes, but my old cam (crappy 2meg HP cam) doesnt do it justice, but heres a slighty better pic to view the glands. also this was the only BG female i got from the seeds i was given so cannt really say if theres a better pheno. i sure was happy with what i ended up with also thanks for the kind words br0

Hey Xtbudda I have a few questions about the BG from Nirvana since I'm setting up a grow for a friend and I'm thinking it should be one of the strains he grows.

How was the odor during growing? Was it strong? And how was the yield?

BG sounds like too good a strain to pass up.

One of the reasons, I whacked this one early, I couldnt control the smell, it has been one of the smelliest das for sure. This one has been my best yielder to date 50 g on that plant.
I have a small closet setup, so these results are good for me.
The year before, i grew out all of the pack except two, and the results sucked imo. This one survived the following year and a different BG pheno,
I would almost say, this one was prolly the true BG pheno, and have since gotten smarter, when it comes to cloning now.

Thanks Xtbudda that sounds like a great plant. The smell concerns me considering this grow won't have any odor control (unless really needed), but the nighbors are a fair distance away. Your setup sounds somewhat like ours is going to be just a small closet. Few more quick questions, how much light did you have on her and how long did you let her veg? Thanks for answering my questions I really appreciate it.

If smell is an issue, I dont think Bubblegum is a good choice, hehe.
You might want to research low odor strains.
In 12/12 i use 2 x 150s hps bulbs.
veg approx 200 fluoros (now, I am going to convert to cfl bulbs because of the concentrated footprint, better bang for area).
I let that veg about 6-8weeks because of space issues in there.
