Should i be worried

I have some LR2 outdoors that i want to harvest in 2 weeks from now.
They are planted right next to 4 foot beasts that will show sex any time now.
I am afraid one of them will turn out a male and drop pollen on the near ready LR2. If that does happen what will happen? (LR are about 45 days old)

Gee, lets think about it.. a male flower drops pollen on a female flower.. What do you think will happen? It will try to reproduce! Lol! But 2 weeks before hav... I duno that i'd be too worried.. might end up with some weird stuff. who knows.

I wouldn't worry. If it does pollinate the LR2 It should be close enough to harvest that if anything you'll get a seed or two for next year, but I don't think it will seed the entire crop.

actually you'll probably get tons of small immature seeds if pollen gets all over the plant 2-3 weeks before harvest but if the nearby plants haven't shown sex yet then by the time the pollen sacks would be ready to open(if it is male) your LR2 should be done so I wouldn't worry.

No worries by the time you see any male flowers and they mature enough to open and drop any viable pollen the AF's well be drying out.

Next time you do a planting like this do some research and see if you can determine which way your prevailing winds blow and plant them down wind.
