Shortest strains?

Besides Lowryder, what are the very shortest strains?

I don't need autoflowering as I'm growing outside, but do need a very low profile and potent bud.

Hi Looopy,
i am now flowering two KillBills from Rezdog. They are in 2nd week of flowering now (grown from seed, 12/12 on 4th node) and they are about 20 cm high. I expect them to finish +-35cm high (actually i did some LST training, so they will by shorter and bushier). They are grown in soil in 2l pots on the window-sill.
The point is that indicas are generally short and not giving them enough place for good rootball make them yet shorter.. but the yeild will suffer of course..

Paradise seeds' Sheherazade was quite short. Shorter than most other indicas I have grown.

hello,

All the indicas, and the majority of indica's dominant hybrids can stay short with some manipulations.

Training them, cut the main top to produce multiples branches plants, suppercropping : two in one (training & top cut) make short plants if you do that properly.

"...greens about his gold?" (please explain).

Any other strains out there people have grown that end up very short?

sure-my atomic NL came to about 18" tall when done-flowered under 4 hours of sunlight this spring and gave me just shy of 20 grams-almost an OZ
typical stony, lethargic buds-i'm a sativa hybrid guy myself but this strain comes in handy at night :sasmokin:

since you're growing outside you can also manipulate size a bit by planting later...a cut, or seed for that matter, thrown outside in july isn't gonna be nearly as big as if you put it out earlier like april or may where it has time to veg nice and big under the sun...just fwiw, and keeping in mind of course that you do get it out early enough that it will finish before the season's over

Great advice you beat me to it.... if you want small plants just wait until the sunlight hours start decreasing which is somewhere mid-july. They will stay short and grow like an indoor sog...

I've got some Lowryder II seedlings going now on the windowsill. I'll plant in a week or so.

If I let them all flower and pollinate, I'll get seeds right? (estimated in early July).

Then could I plant the fresh seeds, and get a second stunted harvest?

(How long do the seeds need to dry before replanting, or could I replant immediately?)

both sour nlx females I grew stayed roughly 18 inches through finish with 30 day veg and 600w

smoking my first joint of it now, has a nice fruity flavor (still needs to cure out) we'll see about potency (although I am already feeling it in the eyelids)

guerilla gold is a mighty fine strain that we were getting for about a year from upstate NY-the driver turned to internet poker for cash so no more of that-it semlled like a blueberry or kush cross to me-fruity anyway with a great head buzz and swell body high to go with it
However-these buds were always prone to mold-at least a gram or so in every quarter

I didnt read the thread but most all indicas will stay short if you keep veg time under 30 days.
