short term memory loss

hey,

i love smoking weed, but lately it seems as if i've been losing EVERYTHING important stuff too: keys, cell phone, glasses. and its a real pain in the ass.

now i don't want to quit smoking... how do you guys deal with short term memory loss? anyone take ginko? does that help? any other ideas or suggestions?

i can't live like this... losing everything all the time... still havent found my glasses...

Yeah shit gets really annoying sometimes especially if you're in a rush and you have to be somewhere and you can't find the thing you just put down a second ago

:yeahthats

I now have a designated spot that i drop my shit off at when i come in the door. If it gets past there, it's lost. I pick it up in the same spot when i leave. At work, if i didn't have slave labour to keep track of my tools i'd be lost.

Man, I read an article about this yesterday and it was very helpful. I can't remember where I read it though.

:D

How about trying one of them wrap around waist pouches just for those moments stoned? whenever you have to put something down for a minute, just put it in your nifty little crotch pouch

Don't blame the erb for being forgetful,my brother can't remember to put his underwear on and he doesn't smoke.Seriously it may have some temporary memory effects like any other drug but constant forgetfulness??I've been smoking over 30 years and it hasnt affected me that..ugh..erm..and don't overwater!

Unfortunately weed is just one of the many things that causes memory loss. Any toxins going into the brain can destroy cells and the more that go the more likely you are to have memory loss. Drinking alcohol, smoking cigs or tweed, inhaling carbon monoxide + other toxins from cars, aerosols.....etc...etc....

I keep all of my pertinent possessions attached to my utility belt through the use of steel zip cords. It helps me keep track of my stuff and prevents loss during time travel.

I believe that here on Earth you might use Velcro, which oddly enough is a vegetable on my home world.

I am having difficulty using steel cords with my time travel as they interfere with the quantum particle acceleration stage 2. Thus i have actually resorted to using fishing line as the outer electron shells seem to be stable enough to allow the stage 2 accelerator to kick in.
Strange that velcro is a vegetable where you come from because i actually use it as a sexual lubricant.

not disputing or arguing with you... i still think it is up to many variables like diet, strain, "mental positioning", etc. every time may be different-because you are a "different" person with each passing day?

Omega-3's. I love tuna and eat it all the time. I don't smoke all that much dope. My last harvest was about a year ago. I don't buy it from anywhere else but a big one is coming soon!! 4 specimens of Cannabis- 3 of the type called FLO and one of Northern Lights. What could those 4 girls do? This could be my biggest harvest ever.

I am not worried about the long term effects of cannabis on memory. I recently read a book called- Understanding Marijuana- A new look at the scientific evidence. (Mitch Earlywine)- 2002. I recommend this to all those who use this stuff on a regular basis.

It goes into huge depth into the social and pharmacological effects of this drug. In the end, since I went over 10 years after reaching adulthood before I started growing MJ-
I almost became one of the anti-MJ crowd- Well not really, I have always known that it is GOOD- But I didn't have the opportunity to cultivate it until now. Becoming a College Graduate is not the worst thing that could happen to you. Of course I did it all the while smoking dope all I could.

Moderation- Use it and be healthy. I learned all about moderation when I started to grow the dope I smoked. That shit is damn good! You don't need to take a whole lot of that stuff!!

In one of the many rehabs I visited in my younger days, they taught that marijuana is fat solube and that the brain being made up mostly of fat, stores this tar like substance and causes a gumming up effect. The results being short term memory loss, relaxed motor skills, and slower speech. I dont know if any of it's true, but I've been stoned everyday for the last 30 years and...........wait what was I talking about again?

That's now why weed caused short term memory loss. Weed DOES NOT kill braincells. It's 2007 and folks still think weed kills brain cells, haha.

i'll start taking some ginkgo and omega-3s daily....

i'll revive this thread in a couple months and let you guys know if i notice an improvement....
