ok so about 7 weeks ago i got some ss#1 from the usual place, there now 6 weeks old, and havnt shown one sign of af atall, pretty disapointed as i only got it because i'd heard good, along with that i got the russian rocket fuel, i now have only 4 left 3 girls and a male, the 2 bush pheno's are in the chamber 1 male 1 female, the other females ( 2 ) are flowering in the main room, there pretty slow and i had to get rid of the others as they all showed hermie!, males turning into female ( the worst type of hermie ) i can safely now say i wont buy beans again just because of a low price tag as stitches auto's are total crap, whats everyones experience if any with these strains,

Sorry to hear man. I just ran Russian Rocket fuel. Ordered a 5 fem pack. 3 died from neglect, my fault. Started the remaining two. One was a straight up male. The other was a nice female. Took all of 10+ weeks to finish in a one gallon pot, but I did not feed her any sort of nutes. Got about 16g of very nice smoke, as well as 60-70 seeds.

Overall, I sort of agree with you. I have started noticing a trend of declining quality from that site.

That's too bad man. It sucks to waste time and money and the trust issue is so huge. I got straight out ripped off the first two times I tried to but AF seeds. If Mossy or MD had had their products out then I would have got them. But I ended up buying a 20 count mix, from the same name as yours. The mix was unnamed. Out of the 20 pack I popped 10, of which 8 germed. Two were males and 6 girls. The boys and girls all showed sex at week2-3. I ravaged the girls and harvested at day 65 with many seeds that I am now doing a test run on. All 6 females were nice looking ranging in height from 14 inches to maybe 30". All had decent trich coverage. Smells ranged from lemon to hay. I don't know if these are keepers. Seed runs don't give a great representation of what's possible. I should know in 2 months whether I need to regroup. I am doing a dense planting of maybe 25 plants under a 250 HPS. I am trying to identify what I have and what they are capable of. Something tells me in the end I should get the sour 60 and be done with it. Good luck, I know your disappointed.

This is why it's hard to trust those new companies in the business... I get all my AF's from Joint Dr or Lowlife as they've been aroudn for a while now, and don't seem to get a lot of negative feedback. Never had any misfortunes with their stuff myself, either. Just got some easy rider, auto blueberry and auto lemon skunk for outdoors.

Good luck for 'em getting those issues sorted out. This reminds of my misadventure with nirvana's so called af....

thx for posting gene, im dam glad i read this thread , in the next few days i was getting ready to order the exact same seeds, u never know on theese threads when only a few people sing a certain seeds praises if they themselves work for the seed company and are i dont know what the word is but trying to sell there shit. the advice on joiint docs and lowlife is spot on though, nobody ever complains about them, now i just need to find a high yeilding low stink auto, thought ss# 1 was my girl but guess not. thanks for the heads up.

i had the short stuff's outside so couldn't really tell you if they wreaked. the plants i grew out varied from skunky, hashy, to earthy smells. plants were from 12" to 18" in size. i received about 12-20 grams per plant.

strange these ss#1 i have are both smelling like a strange minty mentholy but skunky fragrance when rubbed lemme get some shots and you can try to see if they are similar in looks

my temps are perfect ( 80 for most of the day ) the amount of light they recieve is perfect there feed regime is proven. i mean there just not what there cracked up to be.

holy crap. those look nothing like the short stuff's i had. i liked them so much the first time. i ordered 20 more. you might want to contact whoever got them and tell them they sent you the wrong seeds. mine were very indica looking. those look to have a lot of sativa influence. i'll try and find the pics of the two plants i used to make seeds.

month-month and a week


and here is just the female after i pollinated it and cut the male down.



i do believe it took aout 80 days to let the seeds ripen though.

what kind of light do you have them under?

1 400 mh for the whole 20/hours and a 600 for about 12 hours a day they get more then adequate light thats what i mean theres no reason they shouldnt perform the way they are described ph is constantly in check, i keep it between 6 and 6.5, the ec is currently around 0.8 and they seem to be liking that ( no signs of yellowing ) my intake is a 6* dual and 8* dual for the outtake with over a 50ibl carben filter

yeah, SS#1 aren't auto
one have 40 days and still nothing
BUT all the RRF and MI5(mine atleast) were auto with 24h of light
