What did you wrap the 8 in hepa intakes in to make them fit better?
I picked those up recently, but they seemed to block flow too much.
I was worried this would then pull unfiltered air through micro holes ect.

I was worried of the same, also i picked up
⁵/¹⁶ window screen frame and corners and thin spline.

These will be cut and assembled to fit the Velcro perimeter of the square vents. I Will screen in thin Merv 13 hepa materials and attach with industrial Velcro and all weather duct tape to seal the Velcro to frame transition

Air flow, i put exhaust on 1, and felt air being sucked in, also did the smoke test (with reefer of course, no tobacco anywhere near my grow) and it pulled in satisfactory

To make HEPA plugs fit better, its 3/8" thick neoprene speaker gasket.

Thank you for the compliment. I am very excited about this go around. Its not huge by any stretch of the imagination, but i plan on ocd level husbandry. No expense will ne spared when it comes to giving these ladies the perfect environment.

Those are the same 8 in (7 1/2) I have I think.
Do you find you have enough airflow through them?
I was worried they would block flow to the point air just bypasses and comes in through pinholes ect.

Is the DC17 replacement what you use for a 6 inch version?


I just flipped NorCal DosiDos cuts in BAS 3.0.

So i had to just to appease my sick mind, excavate a few cm is soil to see if the seeds are doing their thing.

They are, I'm just soo rusty with seeds.

Like its been 10 year's since i grew, and even then, i was running clones for the last 5 years.

So seeds weren't an all the time thing.

I uncovered 1 each lightly just to see the top of shell, all we're goosenecking, except for 1 Bubba i planted upside down. But itll orientate itself, got light's on now too, as i forgot about light stimulus orientation

Merv 13 biological HEPA filter screened into 5/16 90° corner screen frame with ⅛" spline.

I'll see what temperatures do with this in but I may end up swapping to merv 8

2x rolling carts with supplies. 2 60 Gallon bins packed full of build a soil coots mix and 3.0 using roots lush as base

In closet is a aci 2x2 tent with venting not setup yet for drying harvest

Decided to toss the plants from seed into flowers tent and pots, ill take a few clone’s each prior to flip to keep em around till after harvest in Case we got keepers

Why ? Because im growing very impatient, and I’m jonsing bad to see a living plant full of bud after a 10 year sabbatical From growing and available weed sucks.

All plants in all tents are in 50 50 bagged Roots lush and 3.0 with lush base. Lush itself is a super soil, can take plants 6-8 Weeks on its own as Many report and roots claims.

Temps ive so far learned with LED need to be in the mid 80s (83-86) I’m keeping humidity at 55-60 in lung room overall, when flowering is commenced ill drop it to 50, and supplement veg mom tents with t3 humidifiers

Running night temps and rh at 73-75 and 45-40 rh. Veg lighting is 18/6

Did some lighting additions

In the 2x3 and 2x4's tents that run The Vipraspectra P1000's (Samsung 301h diodes, mean well driver, 50 bucks shipped through Amazon) each tent runs 2 vipraspectra's. They also got 4 2 foot t5 ho fixtures, 2 in 3000k, 2 in 6500k.

The main 5x5 flower tent has a medic grow smart 8 plus. I Also have AC Infinity ion beam s16 supplement full spectrum (has uv all the way to IR in spectrum. 1 in each corner. Also added 2x Mars hydro ir55 35" 765nm supplemental IR bars ar 15 watts each , 2x Mars hydro deep red 660nm supplemental Red bars at 27w each and 4x ACI ion beam u4 11" 365-405 nm uva/uvb bars @ 12.5 watts each . now we are truly full spectrum

Few days Ago did a bokashi top dress
Few day's prior did a castings, pride lands and build a flower top dress.

Last night did a 1 tablespoon pride lands veg , ½ teaspoon each Great white myco and root wise, 1 teaspoon bokashi, watered in with a 50/50 3-day light seedling tea and bubbled ro with 10 drops General organics CaMg+ per gallon.
Did about 250ml each pot From top, then filled trays with 750 ml of the camg+ water.

5x5 , flipping to 12 12 soon i 3 days. Those got 1 teaspoon each of Great white myco and root wise microbe complete, ½ tablespoon bokashi, 2 tablespoon pride lands bloom, watered in with 500 ml 50/50 seedlings tea and bubbled general organics CaMg+ water.

Filled trays with 1250ml camg+ water.

All got straw mulch layer.

Did some equipment upgrade/tidy up

Added a standalone dehum, plumbed to my lil giant condensate pump. Dumps into double tubs downstairs. Going to add a 4th 20 amp circuit. But I have to use some tandem breaker's as i only have 2 slots in box left and im Also adding a whole house surge protector in box, it requires 2 slots. So all 4 of my 20 amps will be on 2 tandem 20s.

Got proper 20 amp 8 spots metal case power strips, on sale at Amazon for 12 Buck's Each.

5x5 specimens are on Thier first lights on after 12 dark!! Fuckin yay! Been looking forward to This Day since April 2014. Been really drooling for This day since we got rec and legal home grow last December 2023.

Also building some double 5gal SIP bucket's for Next go.

Going to building a 9 pack with a double 7 Gallon bucket controller with float and each bucket gets an individual airstone off a 100 Watt activaqua commercial Air pump.

Life is making me happy for once in the last decade. I felt like a part of me was missing for This whole Time. I almost want to shed tears of joy.

I Hit em with the quadruple whammy.

I don't see any adults now.

Water in GNATROL in 1 tablespoon per gallon rates ( 1-2 tsp for light infestation, 2-4 for heavy infestation. 1x TBLSpn - 3 tsp )

Next day added mosquito dunks broken up into bits in the catch trays at 2 tablespoon each plants tray.

Sprayed neem on soil surface afternoon removing mulch layer.

Diatomaceous Earth top dress edges to edge 100% coverage

Hung a shit ton of yellow sticky trap's.

*Bs careful at head height, ripped my eyelashes out on one last night
