going to start taking dahlia clones today . the 'akita' tuber is the first to be cloned, and the other two winning tubers from last year are just starting to show activity , which is a relief . these were my three favourites .

three hmong seeds have germinated , but they are all slightly retarded in growth . maybe they will grow out of that . the malawi x panama all germinated and all normal looking plants, and those were sowed at the same time and placed in the same conditions . .

i took just three dahlia clones , and i stupidly rammed two clones into the cubes without widening the holes and i could hear the membrane crunch and bruise .... first set of the season. strike rate should improve .

the pollinated plants may start to try and reveg soon enough, but that is ok . i chopped a nug to smoke that is hang drying in the shade
