Didn’t realize it was the oscillators you were talking about thought it was the exhaust fan!

Low speeds , front cover off….. thought about noise insulating your grow space?

thanks for the advice FTL. Think i need brushless motor fan.

It's funny cos i have an oscillating desk fan from 40 year ago still going strong although without any humm. You cannot now stop it oscillating unless you triple over a thick postman's rubber band round the oscillating dongle switch.

I have never found an oscillating fan that was good enough. Most often it's the oscillating motor what dies first. I personally used to buy regular desktop ventilators. Never had a big issue with bad vibrations. Only good vibrations for me, like Marky Mark.

@exoticrobotic i have a strong industrial pc fan for my macgyver exhaust where i just stripped the wires at the tip and connected via terminal clamps(?) to an adapter. i can also switch between voltages via adapter and control rpm.
just make sure that the specs match up and the amp draw is not too much for the adapter but thats rarely the case.

actually, i remember i bought a male to female 4pin adapter to go between fan and the power source, so i can return the fan in case it doesnt work and to not void the warranty haha..
