my worker is on his second strike. i ordered an ounce off him for today , he says he forgot and left it at home on the stem hanging

i nearly twatted him tbh . haha .

i have had to go visit another more reliable friend . can't face the weekend with no green

he is costing me a fortune tbh . he tries his best. just has not got the eye yet, is a bit dopey and is a bit clumsy . he is a good worker though overall, just i earn less when i'm with him .

i have to pay him a living wage , and he does not produce that amount yet in terms of work . any other boss would fuck him off

i like him though, and he is a good worker, and tries his best .

i just need to try a different system with him . on big jobs , ok , i can just about make a wage for both of us , and on small jobs , i lose out . compared to me working alone.

i'm a pain in the arse i'm very particular and i have high standard. so when he is using all my equipment , advertising my work as his own etc , i'm not being paid for this either.

we are renovating a corridor , long and narrow, so it is awkward with no room. i left him to crack on with his small jobs, and i will get back there shortly to take over the space again

Sounds like you need to lay out some expectations mate.
Write down what you expect from him and go over it together. Ask him what he wants and expects from you too
Tool box meetings Friday arvo over a joint are good too, go over the weeks play and discuss issues and things for the coming week etc.
