scotland is still an option. that place has not quite fallen yet. though not far off, it still has areas untouched , and i feel i could find a spot that would offer everything anyone could ever need and not be too pestered by the state

Another top politician. How can he not understand simple correlations and multiply migration but not care about adequate housing. I feel sorry for the Canadians who are suffering from the explosion in rents. Does anyone know whether migrants in Canada can be integrated into the culture and labor market or whether it's like in Europe?

i honestly think just going off grid is an option. fencing up . we only live for so long . choose a place that for 50 years or more , you can live happily , so you and loved ones can enjoy some kind of freedom away from a system you do not agree with. that is the only answer i can think of

Do watch Little Big Farm on Netflex that is quite inspirational and a great doc in all aspects. That is what I am aiming for 😂😂😂

As long as you haven't moved, I think it makes perfect sense to stand up for peace, freedom and the safety of your fellow human beings locally.

Nowhere in the world can you be absolutely sure that you will live in peace and security for a long time.
Romania, for example, has certain advantages for German emigrants and my neighbor's son moved there. There is a 1000 year old connection with emigrants who have been moving to the Siebengebirge area since that time. There are areas there where German is spoken. As far as I know, the language is the easiest for germans to learn of all the Eastern European languages. But as the last few months have shown, the ugly face of autocracy is showing there too. Since the European Union is keeping quiet about the coup, I think the autocratic politicians are involved. Even if you could move to Russia, you don't know how long Putin will live and what direction his successor will take.

I didn’t find the interview where someone talked about the book with new studies, that the conservatives are caring for the people in their surroundings more often and liberals doesn’t. It was said, that liberals often are not able to handle solution-oriented interpersonal conflictual interactions which creates the compulsion to dominate and suppress others which can be seen in many countries today.

Gonna be a run on warm jumpers with the uk govt cutting winter fuel payments for the old, and also cutting the personal independence payment for people trying to get something for nothing and a free 76 quid a week.

This can now all be spent on bombs so we all feel a lot safer :chin:

There is that saying "No matter where you go, there you are" but personally anywhere where it is sunny would do me, the uk is cold and cloudy. Drains the spirit and living is more like treading water as it is also so bloody expensive, you get too easily all your time caught up in a machine working to afford mere basics.

I can understand shiva wanting to go and live somewhere else where the standard of living is higher. He's north of london and it's even rougher up there, at least a bit cheaper though.

i'm liberal but i'm not a new age ' liberal' . using 'liberal 'in political context is a bastardisation of the word

fuck all liberal about political ' liberals', most of those types are actually fascist totaltarians
