احتراما میتونی چند جمله آلمانی صحبت کنی. من اصلا فارسی صحبت نمی کنم.

The transmission of higher states of extatic bliss is called blessing in my lineage, which helps with addiction 😁
A competent guru should be able to do the same. Maybe that‘s shaktipath in hinduism? But I also did a special meditation for several years to clean the energy system and karmic imprints from drug abuse. I took cannabis, mdma, speed, mushrooms and opiates before.

Are you doing 10-15 minutes every day and some japa? This helps for most people but as cannabis does the opposite than vipassana, it will block the progress.
Most people don't realize that some cannabis strains can show aspects but block long-term development and the ultimate goal. That's why Patanjali doesn't go into it any further. The other aspects he mentions, such as fasting, breathing exercises, full moon, etc., are used in many traditions including my lineage.

This is also a challenge that I still have to tackle. If I practice for more than three or four hours a day, I only sleep for 2-3 hours at night and if I extend the practice a little longer during the day, I have to practice at night or I'm totally tired the whole next day. But I need a transmission for the clear light meditation to get better results.
First I have to clean the energy system and extend the main practice again. Maybe next winter.

My teacher always says you should hit the pillow as soon as you wake up, then your ego is still asleep and won't find an excuse 😂 He's right.

Likewise.

Here in the forum are
many exciting and open-minded people 😊

Hiya. Much appreciated you wrote a few words in Farsi, that is very nice of you.

My practice is very simple it starts with anapana ( which is focusing on your breath and allows to sharpen the knife as we say), then vipassana starts by sitting still (if you can in aditana, which as you know is sitting still) and scan your body from the crown till your feet and reverse for minimum one hour). I practice the Theravada vipassana not the Mahasti style. In our practice we do not use any visualization or japa/mantra as these are considered as not natural. Only via breath and sensations you reach truth and reality (that is their belief, if I understood well). Our teacher was J.P Goenka.

Now I am interested to find out what type of meditation you were practicing for karmic and drug abuse. Shakti is basically practiced via Seva, as a sevak you serve others, and via practice of right speech, right behavior and right thoughts which also helps with Karma.
Sorry if I might have left some parts unanswered, but i do not know who you guys reply with all different sections. I basically read all the text and then try to answer by memory 😂

Hi, you are doing theravada practice :)
I thought you were following a hindu system :ROFLMAO:

I am doing vayrajana practicte, which includes theravada realization but goes beyond the realization of the body-mind emptiness, which aims to the realization of the pratjeka buddha. It adds a over-personal attitude to support other beeings also, the realization of emptiness of the world and another view.

You need to know, that you need a lama, yidams and protection also to use these methods as you learn through blessings and examples of realized beeings. Regular contact with the lamas is therefore necessary. It is important to mention that it is not a personality cult, but that one sees the enlightened qualities in the teacher and identifies with them again and again until one has realized them oneself. Therefore, it is essential to meet the teacher regularly so that you can see that they are fearless, joyful and compassionate in every situation. These are unconditional qualities that can be realized. The focus is on starting practice straight away and then receiving regular explanations and support.

In Tantra, many different methods simply intertwine and cannot be practiced in isolation.
Cleansing the drug experiences is part of the first foundational exercise and usually takes a few years if practiced for an hour every day. The annual vacation period is usually used to deepen practice and accelerate progress. The second foundational exercise cleanses old karmic imprints, the third is to sow new useful imprints and then life should be smooth enough to realize the goal, which is the fourth foundational exercise.
At the same time, there is daily meditation on the lama and after completing the basic exercises there are further methods. At night there is also the clear light meditation.

I hope I have been able to answer your question to your satisfaction.

Hiya!
Thanks for the reply and for the clarifications.

I basically mix both, the 8 limbs with Vipassana. I realized that with yoga practice, as I am hyperactive, works on my physical strength and well being (Hatta for general, Iyengar for alignment and Mysor for physical…) and allows me to sit better. And for meditation, I chose Theravada as it was very logical, simple and quite strict practice.

So you are following the Mahayana school of thought were you take the Bodhisattva path. So you believe in the samsaric illusion, and take the path of enlightenment for the sake of others, whereas we focus on becoming an Arhat 😉👍🏻
