i'm snowed in

they said 25cm of snow in parts of uk.

the northern lights regular seeds are germinating . 11 of the 12 have sprouted already which i did not expect from old nirvana stock seeds. one of the seeds i must of placed in the wrong way, but with these root cubes being coco and peat , they are very soft , and the seed has just sprouted its way out the side of the cube regardless.

no . however . when i make seed . i envisage that i'm on a desert island when i pollen chuck. i don't want to inbreed , especially with low numbers, but i have good genetics, so i work outwards and go that route .

the silver sudanese are f2s i'm testing this round. from first selections. so they are high risk plants . potential space wasters . if i was having to supply a village of varied tastes then i would not take a risk . but as it is only for myself , then i can take these risks and enjoy the nuances and differences, good or bad , first hand myself without any other influence

what population of seed would i take if i could only choose one? or would in this scenario , one clone ? that would be too tough to answer as i need different herbs , different days

walked to the shop. it is actually quite deep snow . thawing a touch , but temps are going to plummet again . more snow may hit us yet
