Good morning.

I hope you don't really believe that. That must be a very stressful worldview if you have no way of positively influencing your own destiny. Part of my own journey has been to understand at a certain point that I know nothing. This insight and the desire to understand what really drives the world and whether there is lasting happiness has opened many new doors for me.

Fortunately, there are experiential religions where you don't have to believe anything and get first-hand insights.

Haven't had time to read all the following posts. Have a nice day.

It’s a sect that incorporates a large portion of the native base religion Hence traditional schools don’t accept it. Same as the Seikhs when it comes to Islam.
I was referring to the Wikipedia entry. I am otherwise not familiar with it and I cannot judge whether the entry is authentic.

Sorry mate didn’t mean to infer anything there.
Yeah that entry of it being off the path would be made by Japanese orthodox Buddhist’s.
There’s a lot of sect here my favourite Story is the Japanese Jesus

Edit: I really like the sound of shugendo it’s basically climb a mountain and find connection to the universe/nature through feat/trial/ordeal. But done at special power spots where the connection to the universe is strongest

i'm non dominion , non religious , i have faith we were created one way or the other , i don't believe in the great deceptions , i take a day at a time, i'm not promised tomorrow, and i know nothing anybody else does not know. all built on my own experience . i seek nobody to save me, other than myself. my body is the church , and my spirit is temporarily within

If a teaching does not include all beings, it is everything but Buddhism.

Sounds pretty wild. The practices of a serious school should always lead to the same results, shouldn't they.

However, I find Pastafarianism very amusing. Did you hear about the church of the flying spaghetti monster?

possibly all of us go through transformation . we reach a point of realisation , and have to face ourselves and develop acceptance . it is a passage and path and we all are on different stages . unless of course you are jesus like or near perfect and that path is probably easier . who knows ? i don't . i can only speak from my own experience

They are on our national census as a religious option.

Religion in japan is very hard to comprehend through the western lens.
religion = cult
Agreed.

All religions started with a story made by a human.
