Some topics never get old.
Almost a hundred years later, we still have the same issues.
The film criticizes the exploitation of the working class and pleads for understanding and unity between the social classes.

Here is a short summary if anyone is not yet familiar with the movie and is interested:
“Metropolis” is a German science fiction film from 1927, directed by Fritz Lang and written by his wife at the time, Thea von Harbou. The film is one of the first major science fiction works in film history and is considered a milestone in expressionist film and cinema as a whole.
The plot of “Metropolis”

The film is set in a futuristic city that is divided into a two-class society:
The upper class lives in luxurious skyscrapers and leads a carefree life full of entertainment and prosperity.
The working class lives underground and works in inhumane conditions to keep the machines that power the city running.

The main characters
Joh Fredersen: Ruler of Metropolis and symbol of the unscrupulous elite.
Freder Fredersen: His son, who sympathizes with the living conditions of the workers.
Maria: A young woman from the working class who preaches hope and unity. She is a kind of spiritual leader for the oppressed.
Rotwang: A mad scientist who creates a machine-man that plays a key role in the world's economy.

The conflict
Freder discovers the inhumane conditions of the workers and falls in love with Maria. At the same time, Joh Fredersen plans to destroy Maria's influence and commissions Rotwang to create a machine-man that looks like Maria. This robot is used to cause chaos among the workers, turning them against each other and provoking a riot.

The conflict escalates when the workers destroy the machines, putting the entire city in danger. In the end, Freder and Maria must try to bring peace between the classes.
Background and meaning

Social criticism: “Metropolis” is an allegory of social inequality and industrialization. The film criticizes the exploitation of the working class and pleads for understanding and unity between the social classes.
Visual innovation: The film impresses with its monumental sets, innovative special effects (such as the famous scene with the machine man) and expressionist aesthetics.
The message: The film concludes with the famous message: “The heart must be the mediator between the brain and the hands!”, which points to a harmonious connection between leadership and work.

The taste sounds great.
What kind of high is it?
Nothing overly stony/sedating but certainly no weakling, definitely gets you high with that nice behind the eye buzz while still functional and social.

Definitely worth grabbing a pack of them if there's any still about.
I have the old soul too but yet to pop them, as it's the same pinesol cut but to an Afghani while soulmate is wookie.

I reckon any cross with his wookie (7 I think) will be decent.

Early days yet.

I already had a very abstract imagination as a child and still remember talking to my schoolmate in elementary school about how time probably has completely different dimensions for a mayfly than it does for us humans. Science fiction literature has also opened my mind to other cultures and ways of life.
I mean, how can you call a civilization an advanced civilization that neglects parts of society that need to be protected, takes away its own livelihood and that of the next generation through environmental destruction and wars, and leads a degenerate lifestyle?

Do you know Captain Future? I recently met the creator of the soundtrack by chance.
