The male seedsman oh have been tortured. After they shed their pollen, they were chopped back heavily and subjected to cold temps and leds
They could do with a root prune and repot but they've since bounced back a bit with the cmh.

I hope they're not giving you the run around. I can't imagine these large corporate entities installing a manual one even if they are actually legally obliged to do so.
i'd try and buy a used one off the popular auction sites or somewhere and pay a couple of hundred quid for an electrician to swap it out.

knowing what i know now.... if i never rang them up .... i would of had free electric for decades lol. 18 months is better than a kick in the bollocks, prices a touch lower again now tooThere is the advantage with a smart meter that no one needs to come into your home to read the meter though.
I spose changing it yourself may get unwanted attention in itself.
