Man even when I smoked cigarettes, and wouldn't mind a spliff, I found tobacco bongs ludicrous. Like those fools took the headshop's "for tobacco use" sign too seriously. I did it a couple of times out of desperation, but, I was right, it was nasty.

Sure, I would toast for spliffs as well. But what's weird to me is in Amsterdam the people who roll spliffs don't seem to toast it, they just put the tobacco as is in there. They want the nic too I guess, not followers of the "one fun at a time" rule.
