I don't think I have the gene to feel attacked if someone has a different opinion or a different point of view.
I think it is part of a mature exchange that you can leave other opinions without taking them personally.

In fact, I couldn't understand the derogatory journalistic comments about the meeting with Donald Trump and Selensky in the White House.
Maybe I've just attended too many meetings where Democratic votes have taken place.

I think it’s not in your control, how people react to your thoughts.
Everyone is responsible for their own inner life. However, it is usually only people who suffer who behave badly. And anyone who sees a lot of enemies on the outside usually has a lot of anger on the inside. Of course it's a very broad view, and if someone runs towards you with a red head and a knife drawn, it has nothing to do with your current state of mind
I just wanted to make a brief comment because you spoke earlier about acceptance. Inner acceptance does not take away the need to react appropriately to the world. This is often misunderstood.

In Germany, the political center was first branded as the right and because the representatives of the center have formed a new party, they are now announcing, like in kindergarten, that they don't want to talk to them. Then they introduced a new word "firewall against the right“ in order to heighten the drama and defame all other politicians and general public as persona non grata who nevertheless want to work or speak with them. It's very embarrassing for democracy and common sense what's happening and how many people are going along with it. I have to acknowledge that this subtle form of manipulation has worked for many people here for a relatively long time and there are still some people who fall for it.

Several politicians from Germany's two largest parties (which previously represented the political center) have spoken publicly about the fact that they have been taken over internally by a left wing.

I don't see it quite as black and white as you do, there are family men who want a good future for their children, people with a humanistic attitude and also people with a solid and non-fanatical religious viewpoint, who aim for leading positions in society.
The history books mostly only report on psychopaths, but there are always outstanding personalities who have stood up for humanity and done a lot of good for a large group. Ghandi, who defeated the British occupying power without shedding blood, comes to mind spontaneously.
