nobody knows exact anything , and only in my opinion, if jesus is real, then i would suspect jesus was not materialistic , or a fan of ritual , or praising idols and celebrities and such , and he wasn't a fan as eating as much as you possibly can in his honour . etc etc

I think that Jesus' birth on December 25th is to be seen in a larger context, just as spring stands for renewal or rebirth and winter for death.

They stole the day, 21st of December the days get longer and that was important for people for centuries and still is. Historically my professor said, his birthday was around march (Jesus from Nazareth who got put on the cross by Pontius pilatus (one of the only findings that mention Jesus that are not from the testaments))
I made my a levels in religion (because it was easy not because I believe) and when the question came, why we know Jesus lived, the correct answer was, because nobody can proof it wrong. Had a hard time not to laugh. I walked out like a champ with a straight A hahahaha believe it or not! The bus can’t swim! Trust me…

winter festival , we have celebrated this time of year for at least 20000 years, and possibly as long 80000 years. it is a farming ritual event
