Watched a short video of Professor Mausfeld yesterday. He was general psychologie professor till his pension.

He has done a lot of research, how mass control is used in our society, the role of most psychologists, their work for the ruling class.
He talks about how fear has long been used to sabotage the intellect, to suppress the interests of the masses and how nowadays, in addition, sensory overload and "contradictory" narratives are used.

All the research results are supplemented by scientific studies that prove that over 90% of political decisions only benefit the richest people in society.

He comes to the same conclusion as Shiva. We live in a hollowed-out democracy that only exists in appearance and is controlled by neoliberal forces almost exclusively for their own benefit.

No wonder people can't talk or listen anymore. Its strange out there.

Too much distraction and not enough inner monologue thought. Contradictory narratives cause people who who just absorb it to become confused, because they can't and won't think for themselves, it seems.

Someone else has to tell them what to think. These are sheep that are not of Jesus's fold, but they can be brought in.

I think it has to do something with awareness. If you focus on your awareness, mind is producing endless thoughts. How you relate to it and if you become aware of your automatisms is what counts in my opinion. Are you a slave of repeating patterns or aware of it and have freedom to chose how to behave - the stimulus-response pattern. I think mass media is using repetition to train people like dogs.
They are simply used for what they are. A useful tool to achieve the owners' goals.

As my thoughts rarely come to rest, I've managed to get a Teflon coating for my consciousness. It's incredibly relaxing when you can choose the comedies and ignore the dramas.

For the most part, I see it the same way. However, the intellect is limited to using old information, which usually does not contain any meta-information.
Nowadays, I rely more and more on my intuition.
It is said to be the quiet voice of God.
And wasn't it Master Eckhardt who said that you have to empty your mind so that God can enter?
The mind is a good tool, but a difficult master.
