I have 100L now of the stuff.

i have grown many crops with coco . did they give you canna pro ? the terra line of nutes wont work well with coco as media . with coco i like to use just canna a and b only . feed every watering , and once roots established to bottom feed . i used to run bigger grows in autopots and coco , and just a and b . i would use the terra bloom last couple of weeks to starve the plants some what , but just enough feed to finish them nicely . i find the extra cal mag with extra nitrogen start to finish can hinder taste a little , so that is another reason i drop the coco base nutes for the maturation cycle . it is not essential , and barely noticeable , but i can notice slight nuances when i smoke side by side comparisons and i often prefer the dirt grown weed

coco as a media is brilliant . nothing wrong with it . you just have to feed differently and constantly

if i was growing commercial and wanting to limit failure rates i would be growing in coco and base nutes , in autopots probably

that should be fine , just note that the coco buffers itself with the cal mag and extra nitrogen , so at some point you may have to address that but doubtful if a third blended and low feeders

I'll look out for deficiencies but i dont use the calmag bs.

I do use occasionally a bit of epsom salts at week 3 but i reckon there's enough calcium in the water i use judging by the scale in the kettle

With the hids i dont ever see deficiencies, oooh i done it now.

i have never used extra cal mag when in soil and using base nutes . some cannabis likes a touch of salinity to the soil though . i have had cal mag difficiences loads of times when the vdp is wrong and the rootzone is cold , or over watered and such , and the symptoms show as cal mag deficient

I fuckin hate led lights.

Me too dogzter. I tried them again a couple of weeks ago again and got the shitty looking yellow stripey brown fuckup leaves again.

I ended up buying some T5 fluros to veg seedlings and take cuts and all is a ok again.

These hydro shops try and push anything. Bloke was trying to push hand grenade pgrs on me, even when i said i grow only for myself. Just wouldn't take no for an answer and couldnt understand why i didnt want it.

I asked him about what chemicals were in it and his only reply was shitloads

if my plant displays cal mag deficiency and i have calmag in the base nutrient and in the media , then i know myself that the set up is wrong , and dosing extra cal mag to correct the new leaf is not the answer. it can help as bandaid temporarily but it will effect the end product what we smoke. imo
