All the brands have pink papers now. Interesting phenomenon.

The Elements ones are fine at least. Haven't noticed a difference to the whites. But don't have both on hand to compare.

Might not be dyed. Like the Financial Times that gets the color naturally from some clay IIRC and would just be unbleached. It's actually a legendary marketing scheme from FT to penny-pinch on unbleached newsprint and sell it as a premium option. Same idea copied by those Smoking (and other) unbleached papers really now you mention them. I'm still for it though. Not against companies making better profits by not using unnecessary chemicals, a win for everyone.

This is my favorite paper as well when I smoke the joint straight away. But when I roll some for the day in advance I'll use the gummed papers instead, the Clubs sometimes unroll. Yeah sure lick after a swig of soda and that won't happen, I know the old hippie trick, might as well just use papers with a sugar adhesive like Elements then... Uhh anyway they are still widely available, maybe not the squares but if you can make do with single wide or 1 1/4. The brand was bought by Rizla/Imperial Tobacco at some point and is manufactured in Belgium not Italy but the papers are still very good.

Interesting my packs have none of that, I have the 1 1/4, not as much space for bullshit as the king size pack hehe.
