So I am about to harvest the last clone in the bubble bucket.
Took a small bud off the bottom of MOM about 5 days ago....gonna try it real soon!
I do not think the 10K bulb made a big impact on resin production so far.
I was aware this technique is highly strain dependent.

More pics to come, stay tuned for the harvest!

Well:
After putting 2 10K bulbs in till today, the girls seemed to keep growing past their time.
So I switched to a HPS 1000 w to finish her off!
Pics to come before harvest.
I love how flexible my system is, I can change many things very fast and easy.
I don't even have to turn the lights off to switch to a different wattage.(unless changing bulbs)
Just ask I will tell.....I don't want it to sound like bragging, but it is very cool!!!

Thanks for stoppin' in

Hey all:tiphat:

I dropped down to 600 watts today.
Preserve those nice grape aroma's and mouthwatering flavors.
I can say that cause I had some already...MMMMMM!
This one is wrappin' up, but I will post more pics before harvest.:woohoo:

Got here just in time! Buds look solid and calyx's swollen all over brother. Looking forward to seeing it trimmed up! Looks really tasty:tiphat:
I'm gonna actually get comfortable right here, and wait till then.:joint:

How do you determine the best time to drop wattage? Never against saving some $, while increasing or at least preserving some quality.

Hey RicoT
Welcome to the grow!:tiphat:

I drop the watts to lower heat and save terpenes(taste and smell)
I just do it when lateral growth seems to have stopped and lower buds are totally done.
They are really done now, I just want to give them a little bit more time to ripen to taste.
In this case it will be about 1 week before harvest, feel free to ask any questions you have.
Or give a pointer or two, that is always cool!

I will post pics soon!
Come back for the after harvest party, you will taste a nice strong grape flavor....not maybe, it is grape!!:woohoo:

Thanks BOG ( I think...clone only)

Hey all

I dropped the wattage to 420 with the boost feature.
:smoke out:
Coincidence??

Anyway she is just about ripe and I do not want to risk losing any terpenes...so I lowered the wattage to ensure cooler temps.
Only fed water for the last week or so.

I will take some final pics today and post them when I am able.
But chop will be in just a few days.
I will have to harvest this plant in sections so I am in complete compliance with the law!

I can not say for sure if the 10k bulb added any frost but they are frosty!

Thanks to all :tiphat:for following the grow but this one is all most over.

Pics from today, will be posted later if I am able.
I will also post some pics when the buds are cured and dry.

Thank you very much for the fantastic show of support form all the ICMAG'ers that came out to see the show!:tiphat:

I will update with pics very soon.

Damn.. That's what I call swollen calyxes!
Branches look so heavy and floppy man, with some great bud too. Great job squeezing every bit outta her shaggy!

Thanks RicoT

Your right!
The branches barely held!:woohoo:
Had them tied pretty good, but they still bent down and pulled the bamboo stakes out out the dirt..LOL:biggrin:
Not complaining at all!:dance013:
I let her go extra long, and she was no worse off for it.
I have half still going, but it she looks silly all chopped up.
I was not expecting such a large yield, I have to stay within my limits for usable medicine and cutting it all may have violated the rules of that!
I don't weigh my stuff I just make sure I don't have too much on hand, I leave it on the vine so to speak.
It still counts as a plant even if you take almost everything off!

Stay in compliance folks.....they are trying to eliminate home growing as we speak!

$1000 per plant is the fine in California right now!...WTF
