I pulled a bud off the indica pheno at day 81 which is now dry. Time for some sampling.
The wave of body relaxation that rolls over the body after smoking is tremendous.

Yeah these plants were both very resinous and greasy/oily. Most of it is in cure now, with just a few buds drying still.

I think l might grow this Indica out again Dropped Cat. I haven't been into the dungeon in 3 or 4 days, I can't remember, so I'll go under tomorrow and see if the indica is still alive after 3 or 4 days no water. The weather here has been hot hot hot. I just haven't had the time to do a few things the past few days. But I really want to keep this indica going, even if I keep it in the veg state for a year or two.
This plant rivals an Aloha White Widow for sheer potency that I grew many years ago, and it's just getting better with a cure. It's a very, very heavy Indica.
Sadly this may be my last run for a while with the Star and I've really enjoyed messing with her the last three years. It's been an incredible ride and experience with her. And she has always rewarded me some potent and tasty flowers.
I have 3 S1 seeds left that were made in 2017. I would really like to pass them to someone who may have similar luck with them as I have.
But I'm just enjoying the buds at the moment and am so laid back at the moment and not much is getting done at this stage.

It just goes to show that some of the old European gear really is good stuff & deserves the cups & praise that are attached to their name.
I really like their Sputnik & I think if you liked the Star you'd like this too, I didn't find any Sativa in it just crazy resin packed indica hash plant mixed with Critical style bud tops with less resin but all good.
Durga Marta also gets some love from me.

Yes some of the old skool hybrids are top notch, and I like the look of the Sputnik and the Dutch Dragon always caught my eye too.
