Day 40 folks, almost done. Think I've got some trichome changes on some of the buds, im not sure because my magnifier isn't super high-powered.
Wondering if I should feed these, in particular the one that hasn't swollen yet, one last time. I've got some organic big bloom. Thanks for your opinions.
If they are only going to go about 50 days I wouldn't feed them...if you plan on 60 days, you could squeeze one small feeding in, then start flushing. Just my opinion. Keep up the good work!
hey sarge ! looks like your in the home stretch ... i second the notion above .60 days ... do the 1 dose of big bloom .. if 50 then water only . many blessings , hidingtree
I grabbed a little off yesterday, day 46. This is the smallest bud on the plant, very very minor part but she had a couple amber patches so I figured I'd like a sample of early harvest for my reference.
They're not all progressing the same, the other plant was always stockier (my favorite of the two), its buds are taking longer to finish, but they're also much larger and *nicer*
wow sarge ! if the other plant is nicer .... then you are in for a nice treat ! looks great . glad to see you'll have a nice harvest of the sensi skunk ! can't wait to hear how they are smokin for ya . many blessings, hidingtree.
Hey folks, pulled some more today. In fact, almost all of the smaller plant. I left some less developed buds behind. These were mainly hidden from light.
I estimate this to be a approximately 1/3 of the total yield. The other plant has considerably larger buds.
Got some iso-hash off the trim, as pictured below. I will definitely be using this method again! The hash smokes wonderfully with hot knives.
Weighed the dry weight of the first plant: 17 grams
WELL
14 grams was my break even point, so I'm pretty happy. Learned lots of stuff and imo thats the most valuable.
I'm gonna be chopping my other baby saturday morning, probably.
right on sarge ... all o these years and now ya finally got me ready to try makin some iso ! thanks! and by the way fellow grow dude ... nice jobby on those skunk girls ! they really turned out nice ! cant wait to hear how the finished flowers are smoikin ! they look like they'll surely lead to an even better grow next round ! thanks for keepin us posted . many blessings, hidingtree
I've already smoked a small portion that had been drying / jarred for a week or so. They're coming along perfectly for my tastes, which is a sticky icky, slow burning bud. The taste and smell isn't quite there, but the high is a real relaxing, clear headed high. I'm not much for the head scrambling high, so this is perfecto. Thanks for all your kind words folks. Got some stuff coming down this weekend, after that, until next year!
We had a heat wave up to 77F, which caused my room to deviate from the usual 78 - 85 to 101 F, so looks like this is a winter hobby until I can experience the joys of home ownership, hopefully this year yet
On a side note, I usually get freaked out in the winter living in the norther latitudes. My brain kinda goes insane. This year was different. Plants rock.
tried a few early buds, couple hits worth. Was not anywhere near ready as far as cure, but not too bad. Smoked on two occasions, very clear headed body buzz, very relaxing.
choppity chop chop ! nice day for it eh? sure is ... mm hmmm. "day who the fuck cares" now thats some funny shit ! thanks for the laugh . hope ya have a joy ful celebration . many blessings , hidingtree.
