Selling Old Stuff on Craigslist

Anyone ever sell used equipment on craigslist? Wondering if it's safe. (Obviously being careful of what I say with any potential buyers)

Nothing going on here now, just the fruits of my labor and some old potting soil in pots.

I've bought and sold used equipment on craigslist with no problem. When selling, I always did the transaction in some neutral public location away from my house. It always went fine. And on the buying end, sellers have a tendency to throw in a few extras they don't need anymore. Worked out well for me.

used stuff can be good but i recommend to never buy used lamps because you don't know the burning hours it have made, and how longer it burned how lesser the light.
And also a tip when you buy second hand goods clean it well you don't know if their where diseases in the room where the equipment used before.

i have utilized it MANY ways.

just watch out for the random scams here and there.

^-Co-sign. Craigslist is that shit, wether it be selling or buying equipment or trying to get some easy ass, CL will get it done asap. Just treat it like youre in a growshop, dont mention anything illegal.

9 times out of 10 real will recognize real, and then you can potentially meet some cool new people.

Seriously??

You go to your local CL page, click on casual enounters, and then go to women seeking men, pick out a broad you wouldnt mind knocking off, email her a pic of you and some smooth talk, and if she is feeling you, she will email you back and you take it from there.

Also, alot of the girls on there will mention 420 in their postings, those would be a good place to start assuming you have some killer diller laying around. Make your hobby/profession work for you in more ways than one.

please don't put your phone number on there for an add like that. I just saw a guy selling his setup and it listed a number.
remember, phone numbers can EASILY be backtraced and that can quickly lead to you gettin watched.

I've noticed Cali craigslists have tons of grow equipment listed. I guess its just accepted out there. I don't think I (personally, you all can do what you feel good about) would sell anything over craigslist unless i was closing down chop in that location for good. I can't bring myself to buy lights on CL just because i think there's too high of a chance of it coming back to haunt me, and i live a (mentally) healthier life when I'm not paranoid 24/7 for more than one reason

I would never buy ANYTHING grow related off of CL...


risking security for a discount purchase is not cool in my book.

Almost forgot about this thread. Had a bunch of responses. Only a couple people were serious and wanted to get it basically for free. I wouldn't allow any pick-ups so that pissed off a few. One guy wanted it now now now and offered me double what I was asking. I quit responding to messages on it and am just going to keep the shit. Feel much better that way.

i live in CA and there are some indiscriminate folks who are straight up selling product, genetics, etc...(http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/for/543999342.html)...i wouldn't do this, but i have however bought and sold tons of equipment on CL...I think its very convenient.
