Selfed seedling turning out nothing like parent!?

I have a beautiful Blueberry that is the best I have tried to date. I like it so much I wanted to self it so that I would have seeds in case something were to go wrong. I stressed the little bugger as much as anyone could and to my suprise it grew a couple balls in about 2 months of torment. I only had these plants in the room without any contaminents - I made sure of that. I used the pollen to pollinate itself and she produced seeds!

I got about twenty seeds so I decided to sprout three to see how well they would work. They popped at the same time after 1 day and grew very vigorously, more so than the parent. I thought nothing of it, but as they got older I noticed they look nothing like the original. The leaves are much wider and the growth structure is extremely tight and branchy, unlike the parent.

How can this be? I thought that they would turn out similar to the parent - almost identical. I was wrong. All three show the same branching and leaf traits and are identical, but not at all like the parent. I am stumped as this goes against everything I have read previously. I know their could be some variation, but this is totally different. Even the scent.

If anyone can shed some light on this or comment about your experiences or what you know about selfing, please feel free to respond. I am confused - which is nothing new, but I would like to know what is going on. Thanks in advance!

Okay, I'm a retard. This has been bothering me since they sprouted so I went over everything again. After looking though the seed collection it turns out I planted seeds that were made one month earlier! These indeed are Blueberry, but the pollen was used to pollinate an AK47 and a Hash Plant. So, two of the plants are Hash Plant/Blueberry, and the other one is AK47/Blueberry. Sorry to give you guys/girls the wrong info. I should have labelled the packages better. I will sprout the Blueberry/Blueberry seeds this week to see what comes of them.

Still, it is strange how all three look identical. Could it be that the male plant is responsible for branching and over-all look? Still a good question, although I still feel like a complete retard for making that stupid mistake with the seed labelling. Oh well, I guess I should smoke a little less when doing things that matter. Any comments, and I promise I won't change my story again lol.
