Overfeeding mimics underwatering because the higher level of salts in the soil than in the plant pull moisture from the plant and it looks as to be needing water.

I still think you are better off to transplant them all into some fert free soil and feed by hand once they pick up from there.....

I must agree.....with time released ferts its wasting both you and your plants time and energy. Waiting it out IS an option.......but far from the best in my honest opinion.

Good luck.

I'm going to transplant when I get some time tomorrow or the day after.

I got some mosquito dunks. I wiki'd BTI, and apparently they are aerobic. My plan is to take a half gallon of carbon filtered water. Run a bubbler in it for 24 hrs to get it nice and oxygenated, then put about an eighth of a dunk in there and let them sporulate for 24 hours, then water the plants with it. Good plan? Should I break up the eighth of a dunk before putting it in there?

Fast forward a bit....

They are now 4 weeks old. They were transplanted to 6"x6" square pots, using the same soil, black gold, with some extra EWC, perlite, and dolomite lime per LC's mix #2. This was right at about 3 weeks. LST started 5 days ago, a couple of days after. I am amazed at how much the side growth has taken off. I am trying to tuck fan leaves under new shoots, but it is hard as the plants are one big bush now. Is it ok to cut off a fan leave or two that is in the way and is hard to tuck or tie down?

My main question is the branch tops look a little yellow. I did water them two days ago. Is this an indication of a problem? Could this soil still be burning them? Could it be something else?
