what do you have in the aerocloner water or soaking the root cubes in? is there any fertilizers? sometimes they put that in the cloning gel or solution you put in the water. when i get spots or burn marks on coty's, i've chalked it up to fresh mixed soil so maybe something similar is happening? you say the clones in the same aerocloner are doing fine but the seedlings are sharing it?? you mention EC is in check too so maybe try them with no fertilizers??
Things maybes on the up and up had no more deaths in 2 days now 
and done nothing different it looks like the remaining ones may survive have 12 survivors up to now out of 27,, so lost 15 altogether,, guess its just one of them things as like I said before I have not changed anything at all so I will put it down to an unknown source and just move on shit happens in life and sometimes it cannot be explained so from this point in time its onwards and upwards so they say cheers once again guys appreciated the help and suggestions.
