seedlings and light

i just put my seedlings into 3" pots after they popped out of the starter cubes i use and plain to leave the light on 24h for a week, is this good or should i have it on 18-6?? thank you lilred

I've experimented with both and I prefer 18-6. Giving them a little time to sleep gives the roots time to grow and I think it makes for a healthier and faster growing seedling.

I run 18/6 coz it saves power bt somewhere on here there's a thread where someone researched best veg light schedule and the results said the best overall top growth, root growth and final yield was from plants vegged under 20/4 ... 2nd place went to 18/6 and 3rd place went to 24/0 I believe ... i think 16/8 was in there too bt was the loser of the competition lol
