looks good enough to me. you don't have to go that deep you know. you can just remove the smallest bit that's about to develop into the next set of leaves to consider it topped. you don't actually have to take off nodes. just removing the tip accomplishes the goal of redirecting the growth down to the next level.

I have a question about seedlings. Where should I put my solo cups after I plant my seeds but before they sprout from the soil? Can I put them imediately in 18/6 lighting or is there a different evironment that they should be kept in until their true leaves show?

Also, How soon do I have to start PH adjusting my water? Does the water I'll be using to keep my solo cups moist have to be PH adjusted?

They won't need much light at first but if they don't have enough they will stretch and be weak.

I pH everything, why not?

Hello guys. I haven't posted an update in a long time. Since then, my plant went into flowering (about a month now)

Here are some pictures (I plan to leave it another 4 weeks and then chop it). Let me know what do you think.

Cheers :)

I think it looks great but you should not be making any definitive plans on when to chop this early in flowering

I guess you are right, but I estimate that in 3-4 weeks, it will be ready :)

Otherwise I will have to leave it more, until it's "cooked" :)

Here are some updates.

Cheers :)

I come back with another update, and a dumb question :).

How long do you think it will have to go? As there are few brown hairs, and a lot of white hairs.

The plant is in flower for 9 weeks and I still got the impression it have to go for another long period of time.

And another thing. Last week I chopped a small popcorn bud, dried it, and smoke it, but there was not even a slight buzz.

Shouldn't at this stage the plant show some potential?

The strain it's Desfran frow Dutch Passion http://www.dutch-passion.com/en/cannabis-seeds/product/desfran-feminized-cannabis-seeds/

Thank you.

Well you won't know when its finished until the trichomes begin to change to an amber color and you need a jewlers loupe or a magnifying scope. The description on the sight looks to be 9 and a half weeks if you cant see the trichs might as well go 10 weeks to be sure.

I know I am the last person to give advise on patience but all you have left is another week give or take hold on becuase taking buds could slow your plant down and make you wait even longer. On top of that to get that buzz you looking for, you have dry the weed and then cure it. Yea that sucks right. Thats whats going to make that bud that much better hope you got something ready to go in now or as soon as you chop. From one noob to another.

Peace. DL
