How did you handle the watering for outdoor plants?
Well we used 65 gallon garbage bags for pots and slit a bunch of holes on the bottom. Once they grew into the ground it was easy work. Have a 300 gallon tote for feeding..usually have to refill it atleast once per feed... For straight water it's right from the hose. Hand watered plant to plant

So you were pumping in the water from a reservoir with a hose ? or were you hand delivering the water in containers like I did

Are all your seeds, regular or feminized?
The seeds I make? Or the outdoor crop? The outdoor is pretty much all from clones but I have a few fem seeds out there too. For actual seed making I make regular seeds for the most part. Just finished my 3rd actual fem seed crop. So for reversals I've used
Katsu Bubba Kush
Baby Yoda
And this 3rd crop I just finished was One of my pink kush clones

For feeding we use the pump and hose. For watering it's straight hose from the plant. We use the hose to water. I'd never haul water plant to plant. Maybe back in the guerilla days but now a days heck no. Could probably set up a watering system but it's not to bad I don't mind

How much flow were you getting out of the hose? I had to abandon that because it took too long per plant I needed to dump 2 1/2 gallons on each plant twice a day and I had to get it done quickly without standing in front of a plant.

I meant the seeds that you will produce potentially for next year I’m looking for someone like you who can deliver what I need feminized for outdoor
Well my next reversal is gonna be for hash producers. I love my kushes but they do better inside I find. I mean they do great outside if your growing for flower but I just want hash dampers out there next year for the most part. Will be hitting all the best hashplants we grew this year for feminized seeds. Just haven't figured out yet which ones...but soon

Oh God, straight from the hose is pretty slow but it still ain't to bad. I figure we put 4-5 gallons thru each plant water or feeding. Like I said once the roots grow into the ground we were set. Plus we had amazing weather this year. Good rains early in the season followed by lots of sun. They blew up nicely

Watering and feeding was the number one chore of the season (probably by an order of magnitude ) it took up so much chore time there’s lots of other shit that got neglected
Yeah its time consuming for sure. It was usually an end of day thing when the sun wasn't shining down ...but not always

Man, you're an amazing grower, hats off.

If you need some modern hash genetics or some clones, I know some guys. They mainly run stuff like little lake, bloom, schwale, stuff like that. Some top dawg i95 work.

Would definitely recommend hitting up Trichome Orchards on Instagram he's a good friend of mine and always very easy going and great to work with. Him and some dudes are hunting little lake cultivars pretty hard but also do a lot of work. Him and my other homie that I mentioned (badd news!) Both did chimera 3 reversals that were incredibly productive and successful. Bell OG (OG18 x chimera 3), Godwalker (dogwalker x chimera 3), Highway Robbery (i95 x chimera 3, this one is my favorite.) But right now little lake is definitely popping. I also linked up with Crab Collective / Crab Commander who is a huge fan of Top Dawg and the dirty taxi / i95 work. He is sending me his "hot cocoa chem" itre95 keeper (i95 x (tres dawg x i95)) basically a i95 bx that dumps. I sent him some Aprium to run also (puro Loco x apricot papaya, so papaya with zDosi (moonbow) and green crack) from Doc Dendro.

I only mention it cause there's definitely a lot of people trying to find the best modern results.

I read a lot about genetic trees and past work because I want to really dig into breeding these plants. That requires hands on experience and creation and testing, but you can learn from the successful or failed efforts of others, in my opinion.

Platinum Do Si Do and Gary Payton both were the best for me. They would be well worth spending the $ and F2 them
I wanted to run platinum kush breath at some point, that seems similar for sure. Very nice frosty and probably potent plants with the right dosi.

Gary Payton is a clone only though. You could always buy the clone and s1 or cross it, or buy Gary work. I know trichome orchards passed me my strawberry Gary (zepilot cut) and his selection of Gas Basket. Both Gary crosses with stuff that might wash. I haven't tried washing SG yet but I'm hopeful. I really enjoy the pleasant euphoric high that comes from combining red pop (strawberry cut of mimosa crossed to cookies & cream f2 to make strawberries & cream, red pop terp cut) and Gary Payton. It's a potent but pleasant daytime high that tastes like those strawberry hard candies grandmas have.

Thanks , it's actually just two of us that do all this.... well we do have a partner for the outdoor crop but everything else is just 2 people. No team no anything. We just work really hard on this. We're not lazy guys.. growing lots of great weed is a lot of work

So Yeah our partner for the outdoor crop is a superb hashmaker , has all the equipment needed and brought his own strains... we have some little lake seed plants out there... pretty sure that's where B-20 comes from.

we ran alot of varieties out back this year. I'm happy with what we found out. Definitely got some nice hashmakers and they do great outside. White truffle did excellent... much better plant then Chimera 3 which to me is pretty much a weaker copy of white truffle. It didn't do as nice. I got lots of seeds I made I wanna dig into over the winter... lots of watermelon zkittles pure and hybrids and London poundcake pure and hybrids .. probably a good starting point for next year's project.

We ran Gary Payton couple years back. Not worth the hype in my opinion. To me it smelled like a watered down frosted Fruitcake with half the yeild. It was a one an done around here. And was never impressed with anything I tried from in-house genetics... Platinum anything were staying away from to be honest. We got a killer cut of dosidos Bliss were running outside . Super nice plants, fat nugs , tons of resin...almost an indoor quality to them. And it dumps resin.... I've made over 400 hybrids since covid...im pretty good on seeds for now... growing them out is the tough part. If i do try something new from someone else these days it's usually in clone form...just easier and less work.
