Seed found in clone only ogkush bud

It is documented by many people that oftentimes a single seed if found. I have seen no scientific data to back it up.

One explanation could be the plant knows she has not been pollenated and produces a single male flower so small that it gives only a grain of pollen. It would have to be very small as a single male flower could pollenate a group of plants in the right conditions. The seeds that are found are also usually immature. This leads me to believe that the seed was started very late......

I actually got 1 premature seed in my top 44, no males present. just 1 so far, and it was still soft/squishy, the shell seemed like it was getting ready to harden. haven't seen any herm parts. I've had strains herm before, but always so late in flowering, they don't affect anything because they don't even get a chance to mature before harvest.

It makes perfect sense why balastman cant (buy) the emaculant conception possibilities in people or plants.Oh he of little faith.Ive grown Gods miracle herb for 20 years indoors and out,hydro and soil.All in a very controled enviroment.And females of some breeds will produce a single seed without the presence of pollen.Ive seen it several times.So balast man you are WRONG!(sorry)Somtimes just because you dont believe doesnt mean its not true.Oh yeah my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born of a virgin.And if you havent figured it out ,all conception is emaculant!You balastman are in my prayers!

Mother Nature is a smart lady. I have read a couple articles where it is claimed a female plant, non pollenated, will actually produce a seed or two to make sure its life continues. The seed should also be feminized.

100% correct answer. A female plant can produce a samll number of seeds like that w/o male pollen at the very end of the flowering cycle to contiue its breed, bc it thinks its dying. Soma has written about this and their are articles to back it up.

Sorry if ballastman gave you that impression,I know him well and he's not like that at all.Wouldn't have come this far if he never listened to others or admitted mistakes.Funny how we all live in different realities lol.Possibly a male flower forms in later flower and self pollenates the plant,ballastman knew about this long before Soma decided to call it rodelization lol.Harvesting 100% seed free female plants is not only an attainable goal,Its been done many times by people besides ballastman lol.But pray for him anyway,he could always use it!

I just spoke to ballastman and he got his feeling hurt that time,this morning's other incident was childish poo poo.He said he only stated that he doesnt buy it,he didnt declare anyone WRONG with the conviction of a thousand lifetimes!He doesnt pretend to know all that shit,he only told me the times he tried leaving his blockhead pheno to flower past her prime,only once in five tries did he succeed to make a male flower.I know he explained that I was there.Mother nature knows the answer,not ballastman.Or maybe the man with the conviction of a thousand lifetimes lol!

I have seen the single seed too. Inmature, light color.
but not ALL Strains do it. I have seen the last 3 weeks or so before I harvest a few small seed shells.... Since this plant has NO CLUE as to when I will cut it.. why would it not throw out a seed trying to save the strain? But I cut them too soon to fully form and fall.

Of course growing 100% seedless plants is attainable and possible we been doing it for over 30 years now. But once in a while you get a seed.

You got it bro,at least from what I can tell.I cant get a blockhead seed to save my life if I try,yet I've found 1 or 2 seeds last harvest in my grapefruit and white widow pheno's,1st clone harvest from seedplants.Again,there were none in the blockhead.How would I know?The same way I knew there was a seed or two in the female seeds pheno,I found them or was made aware of it.All my erb goes to one individual,and I smoke a lot of the block.In 3 years I've asked him to find me a seed,I havent had any luck.So there you go,it must be phenotypical or genotypical,one of dem big words.

i had a seed that looked that immature and i left it sitting out under my monitor for about a year. it changed color from a white to dark brown in that time.
thinking it was not going to do anything, i tried to germinate it with some other testers and it actually germed in 2 days! let yours sit out for awhile and see if it will do the same.

Just google can plants reproduce without pollen if you want to know the science behind it,I dont buy it from experience.If there were a chance of that being true after growing the same pheno for 3 years straight 40-50 plants each harvest I'd have seed a seed,never did.Introduced a couple feminized strains and although visably female,bammo I have a seed or two all of a sudden.I would know if there were a seed in this pheno too,thats the thing I'd know for sure.Lots of things to read on the internet,this subject was beat up pretty good on OG too lolEDIT Sorry check out the pennstate study the first thread I think

You need to learn more of the MJ plant then as it will produce seeds without pollen from a male.It is the most interesting plant around and will survive no matter what, poppin a seed to do so or several at the end of flower has been done countless times and as JJ said will be a female most likely.

Canabis plants will grow a seed even if there is no males around . It's a normal thing for the plant to do, survivial is name of game for the plant , my last run was clones and i found a couple of seeds in each ,fully mature(i have them in safe keeping), NO males anywhere .

Dude... Just had a very similar thing happen to me this year. I was gifted some burmese delight from a good friend and found 1 seed in the qp. i germed that seed and i am now in the process of vegging it out. Its coming up on 5 weeks from seed and is getting gigantic. still not sure if its female, but im assuming that i have atleast a 50/50 chance right hahah.
