Since she is a law abiding Republican....tell her handling someone elses mail is a Federal offense. and if she messes with your mail again...mother-in-law or not you will pursue legal action. that will make her asshole tighten up and I bet she never touches your mail again.

Couple problems with this approach - first - ya can't back down - which is going to take some big goobers - and second if your living under her roof - - you ain't for the goobers know what I mean?
