I know a dude that would travel to oversees and carry many miscellaneous things on his person. Here's how he did it.
Take a pair of jeans, inside the top of them, back side of the belt area (it's overlapped demin), cut a slit in the innerseam, near where the pockets are sewn in. push your items into this space for travel. He actually made a little"pocket" to fit inside this seam area, as well as added a small button to keep things from falling out. He also had a pocket inside a pair of shoes that he made, but since now in the US shoes must go through xray detectors, I do not recommend this anywhere in the world.
You can also accomplish this in the bottom hem of pants (minus the pocket and button options). Since both of these spots are kind of thick with folded fabric naturally, any pat down will not hint to suspicion. You will not hit on metal detectors, but I can't say that if put in your carry on, it wouldn't be seen in the xray machines.
good luck.
