Security camera set-up

jacksprout,I have not been able to work on this due to health issues, although it is an important issue and needs to be resolved it isn't pressing.
What is really necessary to make this work is a ISP that has a pay as you go internet plan that you can link to a cell phone. You would not need to use the plan for more than a few minutes each day, just to check on the outside of the building so you would not come rolling up to the operation and find yourself knee deep in po-po. Linking this to a dual-sim phone eliminates the need to carry two phones. And if push came to shove you could simply throw away the sim card you use for this, eliminating the need for wiping any drives clean.

bass sorry about your troubles, sounds stupid but what is isp and dual sim phone. i would have to purchase a smart phone for internet right. all i want is motion detecter notification and to be able to see what the cameras are seeing.

jacksprout,Sorry bout that didn't mean to be so esoteric. ISP=internet service provider.
dual sim phone is just a cell phone that has two separate phone numbers. To use you would remove the sim card from your current phone and place it in one of the two sim card slots in this phone.
The second slot would be for your new cell phone number that you would get from whatever cell phone company you choose to use. Now this second number does not have to be linked to you in any way if you choose a pay as you go plan. This is advantageous since if the number gets hot for any reason you just remove it from your phone and throw it away.
I am suggesting a pay as you go internet access plan. I'm not sure you can get this service in all areas. This would be the most economical way to set this up and still be anonymous. There are other ways if this type of plan is not available in your area but they require a contract and a monthly bill(expensive).

Just get a standalone security system, there cheap and offer hard drive storage with dvd burning backup. No bs with computers most sites give free monitors and cable. Their cheap and clear, the bnc and power connectors come in the only additional thing you'll need is a coax cable stripper, request the twist on bnc connectors they'll make your life a lot easier. If there is any aluminum in the area it will kill your signal these cables are like phone cables and any metalic objects cables and cameras are mounted too distort your picture. If you have any questions feel free to PM me i've hooked up hundreds of security systems.
