I still haven't gotten around to ordering a tent! I got some Amazon giftcards for Xmas so It looks like I will be going with a GL60 something small like that.
But man do I like the looks of those DR twin set up's.

I liked the idea of the veg chamber on top but I don't think there is enough exhaust ports for what I wanted to do so I went with the DR90II.

Did your DR90 II come in a plain cardboard box? Did the instruction pamplet have the newer version or the older tent on it?

It comes in a cardboard box and inside the box and inside theres SJ bag with everything inside.

I have not yet received the new tent. I should get it probably mon or tues. I'll let you know when it shows up. .

any of you fellow tent growers know what air conditioner works best for a 4 x 8 with 2 aircooles 1000 watt cooltubes i have 100+ degree weather and grow in my garage the tubes dont get too hot i can hold my hand on the glass and its not to warm definatly no were near burn hot

Anyone get their tent through Greners? Every time I go to check out to purchase a DR90II, my browser (Safari) warns me that their security certificate can't be verified.

Not all that tech savvy. Avoid or proceed?

I did 2 runs with them from Nirvana and letem go 9 weeks then chopped them average yeild was between 2 to 2 1/2 oz not bad high for me more a night time smoke but all in all i would rate it a 7 out of 10 for overall high, yield, easy to grow..

yes i got them from Nirvana. i ran mine to 9 weeks as well and the same weight. ill definitely agree with the 7/10. i have ran it my last 2 cycles and have the final cycle going now. their about 3 weeks in 12/12. this is the last run ill do with them. i have some vanilla kush, pineapple chunk, and lemon skunk that are gettin outta control. ill be running those for awhile. ive heard good things about the vanilla kush

Yes, plain brown box.
Yes, pamphlet was the new tent (rev2)
Also came with some silver and black tape strips and some "s" hooks.

I bought a DR80 a few years ago and did an all CFL grow as my first grow with good results. I finally dusted it off and set it up again last week, plan on buying a 400watt HID (I'm thinking CMH) and firing it up again.

upgraded about a week ago to a 4'x4'x7' silver edition hut from my GL80. this tent is ****in HUGE ! ! ! i have a 600w cooltube and a 400w adjust-a-wing in there right now. tomorrow that changes when the 1000w w/ euro reflector gets here. just my slice of heaven w/ ladies from week 1- week 5 in coco. hand watered (PITA) goin blumat soon

next upgrade will probably adding a double 600w splitter on your 1000w ballast and doing the dual 6's in a vert setup after the blumats.

Been a while since I posted in this thread, but I have a question for Thundurkel.

What exactly are u running equipment wise in your tent? 2 600x HPS? Which bulbs are you using?

I've been a CMH guy for years now. Yield isn't exactly huge, but quality is 2nd to none. Thinking of upgrading to a 1k Hortilux Blue with digital ballast. I think the light sectrum from the CMH/Hort Blue bulb makes for the best quality. If Phillips ever decided to make these CMH in 600-1k watts, every other bulb would be history!

Farm looking good what are the temps running in their and besides the blue fan do you have any other source of cool air coming in and being drawn out as it can create dampness.

as of now i have a 4'' dayton fan pulling air through the filter and cooltube. day temps are 78-80, 41% RH. night temps are low to mid 60's. cant wait for this 1000w to get here. gonna be hooked up to a 6'' 424cfm fan. thinkin about just leavin the 600 in there and runnin 1600w. we'll see
