Dude...This is straight up domestic violence. What you're doing to these bitches. This is hard love. But I care enough to do it.

As this thread moves along, you're going to notice the "living soil" crew abandon you. They'll say "well you don't have access to my awesome amendments". You're failing hard. If you're seeing this in veg it's going to be 10 times worst at the flip.

Here's the sure way. Make up one of the mixes in the "organics for beginners thread". The very first post is all you need to read. Ignore the rest. This is what I do and I fucking kill it. Grow after grow, I absolutely destroy it in the yields. When I say kill it, I mean it. 1gpw would piss me off kill it. 1.5 and more is what I expect. You want that? Take a god damn spade and dig those plants out of that soil and replant into said mix. You'll be happy.

Do this. You WILL succeed. There is no failure with those mixes. THEN go into this no till...living whatever. But only do so in small quantities. I've yet to see one of those posted and failed...yet I see a shit load of these "living soil" hippy shit day in day out all fucked up.

Those mixes ARE living soil. They are proven, time tested, and they are fail proof. Don't buy into the hype, be careful of what you read. BMS is the shit.

if your running organic might i suggest getting some soil in there?? peat moss:vermi compost:lava rock. amend the vermi compost

I think the hardest thing for you to do with your first organic run would be to simply leave them to their own devices. Be sure to not over love them and smother them to death. With organics the ease of growing can't be beaten I personally believe. I don't even feed them bottled organic nutes anymore so I'm not fooling around with how many table spoons of this and teaspoons of that per gallon to water in. I just top dress some dry organic nutes and water it in. I dot that maybe 3 times during flowering, if not just 2.

The mix is pro mix, perlite, ewc, and dolomite lime. Add to that bone, blood, kelp, greensand. Moisten with water and liquid karma, and let compost for a few weeks. Just the basic organic mix burn1 suggests.
