Congratulations on getting seeds wet again!

What you need to filter the incoming is a 6” fan with a way to adjust the speed. I use AC infinity. Make a cardboard box that is sealed except where a filter tapes on. Put the fan inside with 6” duct running through the side of the box into the tent. The speed of the exit fan, and the speed of the inlet fan, determine the airflow and tent pressure. I have slight positive pressure because the exit filter adds resistance to airflow. That keeps dust and most importantly MITES out.

This is really very important. Here are the two tent inlet boxes… the AC infinity speed control is also seen. I set the balance between inlet and outlet fan speeds, and work to have the lung room temp and humidity so the tents are happy, both lights ON and OFF.

I got high one evening and decided to do this. Used the boxes from two fans to make the little filter box. It is still running and on its 3rd filter. Before I did this the blades on the fans inside the tent got dirty, and so was my dope. Now the fans are clean.

Sucking in air that is just off the floor (where the dirt is) is just a bad idea. Those screens don’t filter dust, mites, or pollen. 3M HEPA filters do.

Wow, looks ingenious!

Will ponder how I can make this work in my grow project.
Thanks for the info.

Would like to try some AC infinity equipment, but I can't find it in Germany.

fair enough . hepa filter is just to keep bugs out and block some fungal spores found naturally in the air . I like your rug on the floor. too good to be under a tent. I like bright colours

I think you are referring to the cushions ständig upright next to the tent. They are made of Kelim (old carpet afaiu).

Yeah I like the colors too. The edges are fraying heavely, that's why not in use...

Setting the fans at a constant speed makes a nice background sound. If the AC infinity fan controll logic is used, there is constant chaos as the speeds change. I do not recommend the auto control for fans.

I get a positive pressure in the tents. That helps keep contaminants out, but warm tent air is constantly leaking out, making the cooling load on the lung room higher. I have no idea what positive pressure does to the plants, or the terps,

Very important, and I am surprised the market doesn’t have these with a huge price tag.

Hey buddy. :)

40x80 cm and 160 cm high
A moderate LED board 75W
Why did you choose this setup!? A little bit strange with 2 different lights to be honest... and you can get closer with your 75w lamp. With a square tent you could use more of your light for more plants and not only 2. I would only use Autos indoor if i got a strong light, you just can't get their potencial with only 75w to fill the room.

Aloha Mitsuharu

There are some size constraints for me. The tent is in my living space (appartement), I don't smoke much weed and just grow for myself. So a larger tent is not partical.

The LED board I got at first was from the german craigs list.
This is the board

I understand it has a decent efficiency which was important for me (rising energy costs).
When I discovered it is best for bloom (3500k) I got some 6500k (grow) LED strips to supplement the board.

I talked to the offical vendors of the board, Bloomstar, they told me about 30cm distance to leaves is good. From the MIGROW chanal I learned that hanging lamps is trial+error. Look for when the leaves start showing signs of burning / light stress and back up some cm.
That's what I tried to do.

Am happy for more input / tips

Yeah, try it. But it's hard to burn your plants with 75w LED. ;) You know i got 100w and no problems... I will measure the distance in my tent tomorrow and will tell you then. :)

Am laughing here. Still not sure what exactly constitutes light stress.
The new thin leaves on the Gorilla C. where starting to twist. I assumed that was the light being too close. So I backed the light off.
Will try bringing the light closer tomorrow.

What's light stress look like to you?

Thanks for coming back to this topic :)

Dunno... ^^ LED is new to me too but like i said i was already pretty close with my 100w LED and nothing happened, still healthy plants.

Never really experienced light stress with HPS or CFL/ESL Lamps except for whitening/burning when too close to the HPS but these bulps are much hotter and concentrated to a light spot(why they need reflectors). And you will notice this very fast.

Morning Mitsu

Thank you for checking that.

Last nite my LED board was a good 30cm above the top of my plant.
I thought fu** it, let's try this and put it to ~ 26cm.
This morning the upper leaf tips are brownish yellow.

Mh. Will leave it like this for now and continue to monitor develooments.

Ok, maybe it's depending on the light and the strain too... Try & Error. 😁

Cool music track, never heard before! I like the accordeon sound with a bit reggae vibe. :coffee:

Yes, I assume that is part of the whole "system" so our findings are only really valid for the Individual light combined with that strain and maybe even the particular pheno typ...

:canabis:
But by whatever style the plants are grown, they are beauties.

I remember this music/beat from a older kanye west remix track but didn't knew the original, thanks! :)

Love this track, nice video, timeless sound and beautiful voice. Always gets me goose bumps!

This video from the producers is cool too, really oldschool. :dance013:
